I see in your profile you went from a TP1 to a TP2, so it looks like couth was already lost

yea what of it? i had a tp for a year. i paid for a tp2. alot of the people that have used this trick to get a tp2 are noobs or scammers. ive seen so many low posters and lurkers and new members come in this thread and say "oh, ive had my tp for a week and no problems at all but this guy says i can get a newer better phone for free, i must be stupid to pass this up." the stock version of the tp2 is almost exactly the same as the mr update for the tp.

all good. i saw the little winky face. 1 question? why doesnt the op ever post in the tp2 forums? you would think the proud owner of 32 million tp2s would have something to talk about besides how to scam sprint.

I know what you mean, the guy I go to he's the Superinvisor or the main head person to the tech support at the store I go to. I got my Touch Pro off E-Bay to avoid a Contract, then had defective issues and he ordered me a brand new one, even though he wasn't allowed to. He was like screw it, I'm going on Vaction tomarrow, my boss can't ***** when I'm gone haha. I'm still debating what to do, because I don't really like the Touch Pro 2 all that much, from the glance I had.
but I'd like more opinions on it from others. But that there is 8 less keys, no flash light and that it's faster, with a better battery life.

+1 I can valch for this and he even offered to replace my old phone (Samsung Blade A900).

Seriously though, how is he scamming Sprint? What, you don't think Sprint knows the MR update jacks up TP's?

This is something Sprint decided to do.....the OP is just letting us know about it.

Is it exploiting a loophole? For that to happen, a loophole would have to exhist. None exhists, except perhaps in people's minds.....since this is afterall, official Sprint policy.

I understand if someone has had the phone for a long time and then did this, only if they're having problems. I've had my Touch Pro since last April or so and I might do this, only for the fact I am having problems and I will NOT go for a refurbished phone, unless it's brand new. You also gotta think about those who have been paying Insurance for years and not really using it. I know I have been, without upgrades, replacement or having problems. I actually have all my phones still, paid in full.

After Flashing to the new Rom:
Ear Peace went out, now forced to use the Speaker Phone.
The screen glitches pretty bad when I touch it, pretty big portion of the phone
Phone calls dropping after a few minutes on the phone
Text Messages freezing when trying to send them (here and there)
My camera color or something went off, nothing to do with the settings because I never changed them. I know this for a fact because I had taken a few pictures of my car before I flashed to the new rom and then after I flashed I had taken my car for a wash, decided to take pictures while it was Sunny (durning rainy winter) and it came out to be purplish. MY CAR IS NOT PURPLE, IT'S RED/MAROON.
I'm not sure if this was before or after, but I have a dead pixel now. ahha

Edit: When trying to delete Sent Text Messages or sometimes the Inbox Text Messages, it will freeze when trying to select certain text messages. I've waited minutes more then a few times to see if it's just a lag, but it freezes my text messaging up and I have to Soft Reset.

me too, i am waiting for my refurb to screw up so i can try again. i will not be trying it till my phone actually messes up though.
