Supposed to that is.. What I meant was, are you able to activate your new phone before your old one is shipped out..?? I had a situation like this go down a few years back and forgot to send back my old phone and nothing ever came of it... I'm not tryna screw them over or w/e but just saying is it demanded...

That I'm not completely sure on it. I haven't tried to get a replacement yet.

Hey All, I can also verify that it works. I started having problems with a touch, back before touchpro 2 was even available. I called sprint and they would replace the touch with another refurb. After about 3 or so they said they couldn't send any more. After about, I don't know how many, they upgraded it to a touch pro. Each time the rep would say they couldn't send out another refurb.

I was finally happy, or so i thought. Then before i became aware of this site, rite before christmas i did the rom update. Well that just killed everything. Messed up my wifi most importantly. I called them up and they upgraded it to tp2. They did mention no tp1 were avail. at the time. Nice christmas present.

Current i do have another tp1 which i've had since july i'm trying to get upgraded but with no luck so for. They keep telling the same, we can't send u any more phone cuz we sent u too many, you have take it in, bla bla bla. I tell them funny, I called coorpoate on thurs and had another refurb by friday. Sadly the refurb has the updated rom which makes it almost unusable in my area. The person that sent the refurb is supposed to call on Monday, Hopefully when i give them the bad news they'll give me good news, New tp2

Sound very interesting. I think ima try this out....but somethings, hows yall guys phone bills looking? and i know i have to send them the locked tp with the with the MR update .... i want the exact one this guy boredandtattooed lol but does it matter also how long you had your current tp for?

yes you can activate the new device b4 sending the old back.. if you dont send it back, its 200/300 for a non return charge fee...

the ROM i used and everyone should be using should be linked in the very first post...

not sure who your asking about how long theyve had their TP1... i started with ones i had for months... now i get, claim em, all within a weeks time usually

ok. well, I took my tp1 in yesterday since my vibrate likes to get stuck on, and occasionally makes funny noises when vibrating. also I noticed the dreaded chrome cracks even though my esn was way out of any posted ranges. all of the conditions have existed for over 6 months but they didn't bother me so I didn't care. besides i never really looked at the tp2 as much of an upgrade (esp since I have a spare tp1 and 3 batteries)
but after a half hour the tech came back out (same one that always seem to work on my phone [over the years]) and said he couldn't find a problem, but sprint was phasing them out...... he ordered me a tp2. I assume it will be in on monday.

the only reason I went in was to at least get a decent referb before I transfer ownership of my account to my brother. I went in with NO expectations, NO demands, just the vibrate and chrome listed as issues. out of the store in just over 30 min, and since I had a stock rom (9 months worth of tweaking) it wasn't even reset.

I know I been hate'n in this thread a bit, but ya'll want a trick; do the above (be a bright spot in your rep's otherwise cloudy and stormy day.)
