I liked the phone a lot. But I talk on the phone a bunch and when I get into my car my phone transfers to my car speakers and I can turn on the gamin xt software and get somewhere all at the same time only pushing the gamin program button. When I leave the car the phone transfers without pushing a button. I could not do this with the touch pro 2. Drives me crazy that my mogul does it all flawlessly and the new phone I paid $450 for can't. So I figured return it until the bugs are fixed and maybe get a better price on it after enough people burn Sprint for their high price. In the mean time I get stuck with a crappy screen but a phone that works more to suit my actual phone usage needs. It is hard to get used to the bad screen again. The Touch Pro 2 screen was awsome. |

Re: Returned My TP 2
Verizon customer here and I love my TP2. I am a heavy user and have to charge my phone during the day due to long phone calls and emailing (I am a self-employed IT Engineer). However, I only paid $199 for the phone and would have paid more to get it. I had a XV6800 and loved it as well, until this one came out. Took a little getting used to, but the screen was the "must have" for me. Love the larger keyboard and the tilt as well.

Re: Returned My TP 2
Everyone has their own preferences but for me coming from a mogul... The TP2 is amazing. I paid $250 and don't regret one penny.
The lack of memory on the mogul drove me insane and I did a **** load of hacks like nue kernal.. Dunno how one can't wait for an HSPL. Its not like it happends over night. If you don't understand the work that goes through getting that going... Browse the CDMA Upgrade forum and you'll understand pretty quickly..... - ReDz

Re: Returned My TP 2
I love my TP2 so far... Although I'll love it MUCH more as soon as the unlocker is released. That and WM7 (if it's ever released...)
But remember - play nice

Re: Returned My TP 2
I actually care. I though the post was actually informative... and ALOT better than some of the other posts.
Some people love it and some people don't. It's good to know why. |
