FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY I thought people were lying on the site, there was no credit coming, there was no adjustment, NO PRICE MATCH...well FINALLY just got off the phone and I am getting a $250 credit, I paid $449 for the phone. SOUNDS LIKE $199 to me...WOOT thanks PPCGEEKS best site ever for SPRINT TOUCH PRO 2..wait a minute my rep is telling me its going to be $149....YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

Just got off the phone. I was transferred 4 times before I got any real info. They told me Sprint had no plans of dropping the price or doing any kind of price match. BALLS

There are two articles, one at engadget and one at BGR that claim there will be a price drop tomorrow. Funny thing is, if you click on "read more" at the bottom of the paragraph in each, it sends you straight to this thread. I know some people have been successful while others haven't, but don't look to BGR or engadget for any sort of affirmation. We'll just wait to see what happens officially tomorrow...

I called sprint at 877-775-4886. A guy named Vince answered and asked what I needed help with. I told him I just ordered the TP2 on the 9th and "my neighbor" just told me that Sprint was dropping the price to $199 tomorrow to match Verizons price so I wanted to know if I needed to send back my phone or if there was a way Sprint would do a price match and credit me the difference. Vince tells me he's an account manager and wants to know if I would cancel and go to another carrier if we didn't resolve this. I said "well we're talking about several hundred dollars here, but I've been happy with Sprint's service and my wife is on sprint too so I'd like to stay which is why I'm calling to see what my options are." he puts me on hold for a few minutes and tells me he verified verizons price and that since I hadn't been charged for my phone yet he would go ahead and do a price change on my account for an additional $150 credit and that I should receive a confirmation e-mail within 48hrs.

That's my story if anyone wants to try....good luck.

Ok, tried several times over the last 3 days since i first saw this thread. Called customer service and telesales twice, and got the same answer both times. no go. Today after reading the boy genius article i decided to go through webchat instead of calling and they credited me 150 dollars without any issue. Ask the rep for an account credit rather than a refund and you should be ok.

Did you get the credit instantly or did you have to wait 5-7 days for it?
