I called sprint at 877-775-4886. A guy named Vince answered and asked what I needed help with. I told him I just ordered the TP2 on the 9th and "my neighbor" just told me that Sprint was dropping the price to $199 tomorrow to match Verizons price so I wanted to know if I needed to send back my phone or if there was a way Sprint would do a price match and credit me the difference. Vince tells me he's an account manager and wants to know if I would cancel and go to another carrier if we didn't resolve this. I said "well we're talking about several hundred dollars here, but I've been happy with Sprint's service and my wife is on sprint too so I'd like to stay which is why I'm calling to see what my options are." he puts me on hold for a few minutes and tells me he verified verizons price and that since I hadn't been charged for my phone yet he would go ahead and do a price change on my account for an additional $150 credit and that I should receive a confirmation e-mail within 48hrs.
