I just called two sales rep and they know nothing about a price drop tomorrow regarding the touch pro2. come on mannnn!

whats going on... they've check their systems and all and said they get training a week ahead of a release and that most price drops happen in the beginning or middle of the month.

I need to add my 2 cents worth here... all these posts by people receiving their credits have given me hope. Am going to try a third time tomorrow. Having spoken with retentions already...(was basically told to go f*** myself and pay the ETF...and go Verizon) AND dan@sprint.com

Planning on trying account services tomorrow...and go that route...hopefully receive a 150$ credit...would be nice!!!

Yeah I basically got told the same thing. They were like, "well we'd hate to see you go to Verizon, but... See ya!" I can't blame them though. Imagine, going to verizon to save $150 dollars on a phone and end up paying a few hundred more over the course of the year. Eff that, I'll stick with Sprint and see what happens on the 1st, or maybe in Nov or Dec. Who knows...

First week of October should decide how many customers shuffle around companies. Really would like to keep service with the big yellow, i hope they come through for the people.

I am the only one in my family now with Sprint where as 5 years ago, all had Sprint. Feeling a little bit lonely here on this ship

I guess i got lucky. I called the retention department. Said that I am a long time customer and I am within my 30 days to back out of renewing my contract. I informed them that VZ has it for 199 and if I didnt get it for that price i was swapping. He went to the vz site and confirmed the price and said that he would honor the match. The rep gave me 50$ on the spot and said that the rest had to be done by the supervisor. He filled out the form that went to his supe. It wasnt later in the night when the supervisor called me back saying that it had been processed and applied to the account. I checked this morning and total off was 200 plus i will get the 100 MIR as well. so in the end the phone cost me 149 ish.. can't beat that.
