If we can pinpoint the physical machine as the point of reference, mac address, ip, etc, then we could use a virtual machine. If it's phone based, then getting the MSL or other information that can be temporarily changed during the call-home unlock procedure would be possible.

There's also the possibility of packet sniffing exactly where/what is being sent to their network in order to spoof the "call back" service. We used to setup local TFTP servers to fool cable modems to load their config locally and then reconnect them back to the cable in order to get unlocked data speeds.

We all appreciate the fact that they gave us the ability to unlock and flash custom roms on our TP2s. But they got a lot of donations in the many weeks prior to the release of the HSPL unlocker, which means in essence, they were paid for the work prior to the release.

How is it not their job? They chose to make the unlocker work in a way that requires a donation or their manual intervention to allow a user to unlock more than one device. They also said to contact them in cases of error or for legitemate cases of unlocking more than one device. Yet, per their instructions to contact them, they are not responding.

Not at all. But I would like them to do what they said they would, which is provide support for users of their unlocker, especially when in direct relation to unlocking multiple devices or the same device mulitple times. And I only want that because they said they would support the unlocker.

To me it looks like they have abandoned the HSPL unlocker, since the money is slowing down and there are other devices to unlock, and they just don't have a [financial] interest in continuing the HSPL unlocker support anymore. Maybe I am wrong but that is what it looks like from here.

I totally agree with you Rainfreak! I am one of the people who have complained here about not being able to get support. I did not pay the donation( It plainly states that you get to unlock 1 phone for free!!!) and was unable to unlock my phone. I don't know if it matters but the firewall on my computer popped up(yeah I know I should probably have turned it off) so I turned it off and tried again and got the message that I had already used the unlocker and would have to pay to unlock my phone. I submitted a "ticket" and have not heard anything from them. And paying or not if they are not going to support their "product" and maintain their site there needs to be a disclaimer stating that "support is no longer available"

Gotta disagree with you here P. Yes they did us a favor and that is great BUT they put it out there and they do state that problems should be directed to their site where you can submit a "ticket" to get support. Therefore they ARE responsible and should respond. If they are not going to do this then they should not be still collecting "donations" for their so-called service as it is completely unethical and just a plain rip off to continue to take money. And honestly I do not have a charge card to pay whatever their so-called donation fee is.

The site works and I'm positive its user error. We're the ones who need hspl and they didn't sign up to be sitting in front of a computer waiting for people who can't help themselves. I'm also glad I have a nexus and a custom rom isn't necessary like with winmo 6 so I'm fortunate as well but I still have my tp2 and like I've said I've unlocked 4 different ones with no problem. Honestly though each donation is roughly $15.

By the way it is no longer a "Donation" if it is mandatory to receive what is offered....

As stated before the device (HTC TP2) was never unlocked because the Hard SLP that came with the Security Sim Unlocker would not work and I had to use a newer version.

I agree, I saw this coming which is why I don't expect much support or any at all, but I guess some people really thought they were a store or business actually around for support. I knew they were going to create it then keep it moving.

I specifically did not buy my wife a TP2 because of this screwy situation. You got all these people out in the world now that think because they do something that takes a week or two or even 3, that they should be paid for it for years. It don't work like that at my job. Maybe if someone makes a big enough stink about it in a thread, the process will get changed.
