Well when I open the same thing on both phones. Say 10 apps and 9 of the 10 are better and easier. That's 90 percent. And when it happens that's a fact. Someone one the web saying something is no more fact then my experiences once again I have the 2 you don't. So its not a opinion like you its a fact.

But you're comparisons are flawed in their core.

TP2 vs a NexusOne
528mhz to 1024mhz

so you can make as many comparisons you want, they still wont be relevant to this thread

Just like you said, until we have both in hand these comparisons are very much speculative opinions

3. that made no sense. Tp2 is sold by all carriers, no phone with the same OS has that but the tp2, and you still see other phones more than it. It would be stupid to assume you see as many nexus ones as you would tp2s being there not even sold in the U.S. Your point is Down syndrome.
#1: The stock ROM on my European unlocked Touch Pro 2 was just fine. It didn't have any carrier "customizations" on it though, so that is probably why. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

#2: Show me one of those threads about Mobnile Shell killing battery. Either that or admit you don't know what the heck you're talking about. Yes, I know Mobile Shell had an update that hurt battery life. I also know they had another update that corrected the problem like a week later or something like that. It had not been an issue before that particular update, and it has not been an issue since then. So do yourself a favor and just sit back and learn. Don't go posting crap that you clearly know nothing about.

#3: Look man, you were the one ripping on winmo for not seeing any Touch Pro 2's out there. Don't start making excuses when I point out that there are more of them out there than your precious Nexus One. And yes, it's on more carriers. It is also not getting anywhere near as much marketing, and costs twice as much.

Get that through your head, im talking about the whole os.

Look at the droid. its faster than the tp2 with only 22 mhz faster. Give it up, windows is dead and in caps IM NOT ONLY TALKING ABOUT SPEED OF THE PROCESSOR.
The processor in the Droid is a TI Omap. Not only that, but it's the next gen Omap- supposedly their competitor to the snapdragon. Once again, you demonstrate that you have no freaking clue what you're talking about.

Just so you know- those Omap processors get way more done per clock cycle than the qualcomms. So the fact that it has a FASTER processor should be a pretty big deal when you consider that it is also getting a lot more done per clock cycle.

This is interesting because i was just researching the core chip architecture found on the Moto Droid and Milestone.

seems that the US Moto site states the Moto Droid as having an Arm Cortex A8 @ 550- 600mhz

the Motorola developer site shows it with an TI OMAP processor

You're right though the Texas Instruments next gen OMAP is a beast through clock cycles. It's an impressive core

Re: Who plans to go HD2?

Well there's at least a viable option to use the media capabilities of the HD2 to their full potential, albeit sacrificing some room

People added extended batteries to their HTC Raphael's , they add hours of usability and at the least it adds power while adding functionality, i.e Media Kick stand

Although I'd purchase a much thinner back part with just the added kickstand if it was available aswell, its not so bad it actually makes it just as wide as a Nextus

Re: Who plans to go HD2?

So to spare me from having to read through 120 pages of bickering...

Has is been confirmed that the HD2 will NOT be released on Verizon?

My girl is holding out for this and if it's never going to come, I'll tell her to move on to a Droid or Nexus.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?

I just have to say, if that news article about the leaked Winmo 7 info is correct:
http://www.ppcgeeks.com/2010/02/06/e...om-the-depths/

Then the Touch Pro 2 will be my last Winmo 7 phone. I'm still not interested in the Nexus One without a keyboard, but when a keyboard version of it is released it will probbaly be my next phone. Motorola is supposedly making a Nexus 2 with a keyboard, so that could be it.

Of course, if it turns out to be false, then I'll probably stick with winmo. but that report says no multitasking, can only install apps from the marketplace (no more cabs), no more 3rd party user interfaces like TouchFlo or Mobile Shell, and using the zune software to sync. If that is true, forget about it. I'll go Android for sure.
