https://www.google.com/phone/choose?locale=en_US&s7e= As you can see there, the Nexus One is $179 with a 2 year T-Mobile contract. So the device IS subsidized. |

http://www.skyfire.com/pub/tmp/Skyfi...ease_Notes.pdf As you can see there in the release notes, and this is a copy and paste: "Full high resolution support: Skyfire now provides native support for the high-resolution VGA and wVGA screens found on many newer Windows Mobile phones." And don't make excuses as to WHY skyfire is faster than any other browser. Just know that it IS faster, and we CAN and DO use it. |

Re: Who plans to go HD2?
switch to Tmobile ??? ROTFLMAO.
For a Wm6 device when Windows Phone 7 is days away from being announced and shipping this year by all accounts.... good one... very funny! Tmobile gets credit for trying to compete but a great phone on a crummy network - at high prices - is still pretty worthless. |

So your analgy is horrible. It's more like buying a ferrari and adjusting the seat and the radio right off the showroom floor. |

Thank you good sir! lol....you guys are quite funny. Why wouldn't you consider Skyfire a browser?? Why are you guys looking for all the excuses in the world to diss Skyfire?? Does Skyfire not display webpages?? Can you not access EVERY webpage possible? Does browsing with Skyfire magically show you some sort of secret webpage??? Your argument is saying that yes, both browsers get to the same page, but they do it differently. Hence its unfair. Newsflash....all I care about is the end result...which is displaying webpages....and hands down Skyfire is the winner. Truth is, I'd rather use Skyfire than anything else Android currently has. I would love to watch videos posted on this thread unlike your devices that just ignore the video links. |

1) how is gsm better? i have a sprint tp2 in my hands right now and i have a tmobile phone in my hands right now. if i do a line speed test the 3g will get faster connectivity. i haven't picked my sprint tp2 up in over a week, so if cdma is better then why haven't i had a need to pick up my phone. Also with all the reports you been showing about winmo sells, one the majority of winmo sales are from overseas, and over seas people defintily run gsm in majority. Also talking on the phone and browsing isn't that big of a deal but hands down it is a plus. you must not have seen that att commerical about downloading, 3g is faster then evdo rev a. i'm proof as i sit right in front of my computer as i type. 4bargs 3g and 4bars evdorev a. why is sprint better then tmobile? sprint is lowering its prices and is almost out of business, are you serious man. like i said man i'm speaking from experience i've had sprint for 10 years and worked for them for 3, sprint was better then tmobile which is why i had them, tmobile is better now which is why i have a tmobile phone. like so many people say, if you live in the boonies or out in the middle of nowhere then yes tmobile sucks, but if you like me and stick to metropolitan areas tmobile is taking a fat dump on sprint. Sprint doesn't have 6.5, sprint doesn't have android 2.1, sprint has the weakest line up of phones altogether and they will be the very last company to get the nexus one, if they even get it. the first winmo phone that sprint is going to get is going to be an lg, other then that we all know tmobile will get winmo 7 first. you want to hate on the iphone, obviously that your perogotive but it is the phone to beat right now, but the iphone works on gsm only. only salty could say that winmo 6.5 doesn't need a change and only salty could say that sprint is better then tmobile. Maybe when sprint finally goes backrupt you will see how much in trouble they are. as if their quartely earnings or their churn rate don't say enough.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?
i can't believe you guys are still talking about that weakass browser skyfire. here is the best example, when you go to a website and they have a youtube box embedded in their website with skyfire you can click that youtube and it will start playing. that shit is garbage, its choppy, you have to adjust it and so many other problems. with any android os, if you go to that same website and click on the link, instead of trying to play that small yourtube thru the browser ( which is retarted for mobile os) on any droid it will open the youtube player and you will see it in high quality and have easy control over rewinding and forwarding. only an idiot would rather watch it thru skyfire. skyfire and opera boo boo compared to the webrowsing on ANY droid. webrowsing is the biggest thing anyone probably does on their phones now and web browsing on the droid and iphone is 10x better then anything winmo has by leaps and bounds.

T-Mobile seems to be doing worse than Sprint bud. And they are still building on their 3G network in the age of 4G....kind of late to the ball game as well. |
