Uh, there is no diversion there. You came in arguing that since your iPhone will SOMEDAY get some of the functionality that Winmo phones have already had for YEARS, that somehow means Winmo is the pne paying catch up.

Honestly those numbers brownhornet posted up really don't mean anything, and I can't even stress this enough

especially since those numbers are directly correlated to the number of users that find this a viable solution to their needs which up to this day today has not met the requirements to make a decent comparison and make those statistics relevant.

you do realize powerpoint is only a viewer, the windows mobile one is no better then the android. only if you physically need microsoft word then word is better, if you need to create a word type of document but it doesn't physically need to be word then its better on the droid. you keep comparing nexus, funny how you keep dodging the moto droid, thats better the the tp2, sorry but its true. droid and tp2 came out at the same time. you act like they couldn't have just built a snap dragon processor into the tp2, and guess what half the people would stop talking about the hd2 altogether. snapdragon processor is not about to change winmo, winmo 7 needs to change its whole os, you need to get this through your head.

I don't even know why you keep talking about youtube, pulling youtube up on skyfire compared to way the way you view youtube on any droid is a joke, why are you even comparing that.

Considering Windows Mobile phones run on various chip architectures i wouldn't get too hung up on Qualcomms Snapdragon chip

No one is saying Snapdragon is Windows Mobiles savior and in my honest opinion I'd rather a different processor Snapdragon is at the bottom of my list

#1: Please show me where I said anything about powerpoint. I specifically said word and excel. Nice attempt at a straw man argument though. Word and Excel are flat out better on Winmo, and there is absolutely no argument against this.

#2: Even if you don't need Word, it still is NOT better on Android. There is nothing it does better on Android. Period.

#3: The droid has better specs than the Touch Pro 2. Did you ignore my post on that? It has a better processor. It runs at a faster clock speed, and it's also a next gen processor that does more per clock cycle. I don't know where you are getting your info from, but you need to check it again.

#4: I need to get what through my head? LOL! Give me an example of what they need to change already. You can't tell me I need to get some generality through my head. Give me an example and we can discuss it. But you just saying "winmo sucks because I said so, get it through your head already" just doesn't fly with me. Especially when you have continually demonstrated that you have no idea what you're talking about all throughout this thread.

#5: Pulling youtube up on skyfire is the exact same as pulling it up on a desktop computer. You do NOT have access to all the same content on a mobile phone, no matter how much you claim otherwise.

Oh yeah, and the droid did NOT come out at the same time as the Touch pro 2. The Droid was released in November. The Touch Pro 2 was released in May (6 months before). maybe Sprint didn't release theirs for a few months or whatever, but the device was already released in May (and I got my first one on AT&T in June).

You need a fact checker to go over your posts before you submit them, lol.

here's the best example for what the majority of the people are doing in this rooom. if we had to go from point a to point b, i jump into my porche cayenne and follow my navigation and ride there comfortably and end up at point b asap. then you winmo users jump into your mazda moreno with no navigation, no leather, no sun roof, and no rims but you still end up at point b a little later because with no navigation you took an extra couple of turns. We both got to our destinations we just didn't take the same route or transportation. Until winmo 7 comes out its that simple.

Microsoft fell off because they didn't advertise. Period. I have never seen even close to as many WinMo commercials as I see every day for the Droid, Droid Eris, iPhone, and MyTouch 3G. If they advertised the same way all those get advertised, they would still be up on them.

Dude. I install apps tp SD card. I see full web pages. And skyfires a joke other than flash... sling box needs a extra purchase and not many people even use it...

Android simplifies. Windows makes life harder..

And j don't get this full version of YouTube junk. I've never not found a video on one that I couldn't find on the other. And if you think YouTube is better on skyfire your high... skipping frames and all kinds of mess.....

By the time I get around to a HD2, the "How to scam Sprint for a free HD2" thread will have about 500+ posts! I will stick with my TP2 for now, The fastest dealbreaker for me is no hardware keyboard, I do WAY TOO much Craigslist to not have one!
