Re: Who plans to go HD2?

youngbreedant i'm not even arguing with you because you keep talking about winmo 7, nobody has even brought that up. i was only joking by comparing hd2 to g1, i already said thats the very 1st android its obviously outdated. do you see how fast you guys really wanted to make that a point. salty by you sticking up for winmo is the reason why windows needs to gain market share because its so far behind. its sad how microsoft had its foot in the door and was by far the most dominant mobile os, there is a reason its currently where its at right now with developer support and everything. like i said salty make a list of everything you expect to gain going from tp2 to hd2, its not even running 6.5 what a joke. no i haven't held a hd2 but if you think its going to be heaven sent then you are wrong. anybody going from a nexus to an hd2 will return that hardware, i gurantee it.

Make a list? LOL! Everytime I list anything you turn into a fanboy and say it isn't important (slingbox, word, excel, full version of websites, full version of youtube, installing apps to storage card).

Microsoft fell off because they didn't advertise. Period. I have never seen even close to as many WinMo commercials as I see every day for the Droid, Droid Eris, iPhone, and MyTouch 3G. If they advertised the same way all those get advertised, they would still be up on them.

Incidentally- WiMo IS significantly ahead of Android in market share, so you are even full of it on that point, lol.

Like I have said 100 times now- what I expect to gain from an HD2 is faster and better hardware. You know- the same stuff you were lookng forward to earlier in this thread before you became a fanboy and a troll.

If you have a point to make, make it. but just saying "everyone will like it better because I said so" is not a point. It's an opinion that isn't anymore valid than any other opinion.

if your going to talk about next gen hardware and software which is what the nexus one is, then i have to talk about the next gen OS from WM. It's unfair for you to bash WM for there old OS and talk lovely about the next gen OS's. Your arguement will be obselete when WM7 is released. Like i stated earlier it's sad that a 3-4 year old OS can compete with something that was released yesterday. Also i beg to differ that most people would prefer the Nexus One over the HD2. If anything i think those are equal devices. Unless your a business person, which would definitely pick the HD2

i already said i'm a fan of winmo 7, and i will get a winmo 7 phone. are argument is comparing winmo 6.5 to android 2.1. I know its unfair but salty swears 6.5 is just as good.

Like i said salty you keep saying better the only thing better coming out of the hd2 is speed, and thats only 1 of the many things winmo needs to fix.

Okay well with that being said you shouldn't be suprised that your nexus one does thing faster and looks better then the TP2. The next generation of something is suppose to be better. Honestly i think the Nexus One should be hands down better then any device with WM 6.5 and sadly it's not. Seriously WM 6.5 gives all of these OS's a run for there money and it's based off of an OS that was originally built like 6-8 years ago maybe even longer. The HD2 sold waaaaayyyy more then the nexus did it's first week. Many factor probably came into play but number don't lie. WM7 will be the real next gen software. The funny thing anout andriod is it gets praised for things that WM gets bashed about, and then it actually took the same approach as WM but since it was newer and looked nicer it's "revolutionary"....get that shit outta here. I've been able to multi task, and my platform has been open source. Just wait for WM 7 and all this WM bashing will come to a hault.

Well what else do they need to fix? I keep asking you this and you keep dodging the question.

We know they need to fix the interface. But people like me that run Mobile Shell don't care anout the interface anyway. No matter what WinMo does to the interface, my interface will be Mobile Shell. So that's not an issue to me, but I know many people that haven't used Mobile Shell aren't aware of how awesome it is.

So what do they need to fix? You keep saying there are all these things that need fixing, but so far all you have talked about are the interface and the apps.

I think everyone already knew sling player would be going to all of those platforms. Because we never tried to pretend nobody cared about it.

It was the iPhone fanboy saying "nobody cares about slingbox anyway" not us. We already knew everyone cared about it. And with everyone caring about it, you can bet it will be developed for every platform.

And Winmo still has plenty. Again, it has slingplayer right now, not at some point in the future. It also has word and excel, has the ability to view full versions of web pages, full desktop version of youtube, and the ability to install apps on the storage card. It also doesn't have an app nazi telling you what you can and can't do with your phone like iphone and Palm (see the palm devices getting tethering blocked on Verizon until big brother finally allowed it the other day, and even google blocking tethering on the G1).

document veiwing looks better on android, you might want to go download the app on your friends g1, I just did last night and its better. youtube on the androids is 10x better then youtube on skyfire, we have full access ( i mean full access to youtube, account, ratings, history, and saved), its not like the weak version we have on our tp2s. the app nazi has nothing to do with how good you phone actually works. tethering is only blocked on the g1 (i hadn't even known that) but there is an app in the google marketplace which allows anybody to tether its called pda net. I don't know what else to tell you man.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?

I second that man. I plan on going to that when either the HD2 or the Nexus One comes to Sprint. There may be some other hot phone by then as well, though.
