Re: Who plans to go HD2?

if sprint gets an hd2 variant this year, i'm getting it. my onscreen kb experience has improved favorably when jumping from the tp1 to tp2... i'm expecting an even better experience on a 4.3" screen. love having a physical kb, but i'd prefer the hd2 at this point. it'll be the first time where i've thought a physical kb isn't necessary...

There is no way I would give up the keyboard on my Touch Pro 2, and I can't imagine a fraction of an inch bigger screen changing that.
true. but i dont text or email that much so i dont need it. depends what u need it for huh

Yeah I text way more than I actually talk, and I email a lot too. I also facebook, post on message boards, and even type word docs and spreadsheets. So yeah, when the screen on my phone lights up for any reason, most of the time my keyboard gets slid out too.

thought sprint's 4G is wimax not LTE?

You are right. I didn't fully read every detail of the thread when I started from the first post the other night. You obviously know what you are talking about. I'm just saying you are the one who corrected my sentence....which is still true. You applied my sentence into your own realm of thinking. I'll leave it at that.

AMEN! I just got back from the gym. Streaming music via bluetooth and then trying to reply back to a text that you receive is painfully slow. I was wishing for more ram and a faster processor. Then I stopped and remembered how I felt when I upgraded from the Touch Pro I. I thought the TP2 was the best phone ever. I'll never be happy with he HD LEO. I need those specs with a hard keyboard. Texting without looking cannot be under-rated.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?

i would wait at least to the end of the year or even to mid next year to get another phone because the market is changing so fast. 4g phone are slated to come out around june. waiting for one thing you won't be paying the initial inflated launch price and most likely won't be missing out features you want like an hd2 variant with a physical keyboard or a worthy android phone ala nexus on sprint.

Likewise. Actually, these are things I wanted to do more of on my Omnia, but it was too much of a chore with the lousy screen on it. The on-screen keyboard on the TP2 is a huge improvement for doing little things, but I prefer the hardware keyboard.

I like HTC hardware, and I like Sense as a natural evolution of TouchFLO, but I'd still rather have WinMo underneath than Android.

WHY???? It's slower, OLD and less development for it
