When Winmo 7 comes out, it will be on faster hardware. That's the big excitement right now. Oh yeah, and it will play games on xbox live and have a zune player that you can subscribe to the monthly service.

You can't do any of that on your Nexus One. Please give me an example of even 1 thing that you will have been doing for a year that I can't do on an HD2 with mobile shell. I keep asking and the more you refuse to give me an example the more I think there aren't any.
And you keep ignoring the fact we all know winmo sucks and we ALL can't wait for winmo 7. You're comparing the very 1st android OS to winmo 6.5. You know were in 2.1 now right. If u. Wrote everything I like better it would be a report. Go play with a nexus then you will see. Until then I'm 1 leg up because I physicially own all 3 os'

You're still dodging the question. Just saying "it's better because winmo sucks" isn't an acceptable answer.

You said there are things I will finally be able to do that you will have been doing for a year. Please list one of those things if that statement is true.

By the way- I'm not comparing the first version of the OS to winmo 6.5. They have both updated their G1's a while back. What I am doing though is comparing the newer Touch pro 2 hardware to the older G1 hardware. Just like youare comparing the older Touch Pro 2 hardware to the newer Nexus One hardware (and then acting like the OS is the only difference).

I can't think of one single thing the Nexus One does that an HD2 with Mobile Shell couldn't do first.

Now if you want to talk about apps that are available, that's one thing. But you're talking about the OS itself and there is just nothing at all to back that claim up.

OK that's where you're getting me confused, it does nothing more, but it does everything easier and faster, and I'm talking OS. So it can be Apps, it can be web browsing, it can be how much easier it is to do just about everything. Just because you're getting a faster processor doesn't change the ease and amount if steps you have to take just to accomplish one simple thing. You write a list of 20 things you do with your phone everyday and I'll be able to write a list of how android makes it simplified, which is what winmo 7 is trying to do. And you keep ignoring that. You keep talking like the HD2, is going to be different somehow, it isn't, its still winmo 6.5. Faster doesn't change what we have on our tp1s already.

So Mobile Shell would be able to fix any of those "issues" in your rant. It makes it easier and faster to do everything. You can do pretty much everything with only 1 tap.

This is why I want a specific example. I know you said you used Mobile Shell but I am not sure you have. Or maybe it was so long ago that it's totaly different now or something.

And for the record, that is the interface, just like I said.

Trust me, you said T-Mobile sucked when I told you it was fine. You gave it a try and now you have cancelled your Sprint for it. You try the latest SPB Mobile Shell and you will forget about any winmo issues. You will only be concerned with the speed of the device.

you hella wrong, mobile shell isn't actually integrated into the phone, it does nothing for the os. it still isn't a comparison. Believe me, if i even thought it would be close trust me, i would go buy a hd2. Can I just ask you, what the hell do you think the hype is over winmo 7? Winmo 7 isn't going to revolutionize anything, (the iphone told us what to expect from the next generation of phones) its only playing catch up, why can't you see this. Do you think winmo is about to drop something the whole world hasn't thought of? No, its playing catch up to the next gen mobile os'

Tell me what you mean when you say Mobile Shell isn't integrated into the OS. You're wrong, it is. I hit contacts, I get the mobile shell contacts. I hit start, I get the Mobile Shell start menu. On the phone dialer I have Mobile Shell buttons. I have Mobile shell soft keys on every screen. Tell me what you mean exactly, lol. You're dead wrong about it, and I'm sure I can easily prove it if you give an example of what the heck you're talking about, lol.

As for Winmo 7 revolutionizing everything- uh, have you not seen any of the quotes? MS claims that winmo 7 WILL revolutionize the mobile market. And some examples are xbox live gameplay, and the zune monthly unlimited service. That is not playing catch up, nobody else has either of those things yet.

It's hillarious that you can make post after post saying "winmo sucks because I said so" and "when you finally get winmo 7 I will have already had all those features for a year" and "mobile shell isn't integrated into the os" but you can't give me even 1 single example.

Give me a specific example of what the heck you're talking about. There is no point in you posting your generalities. If it's really so much better, as you keep saying, then give me an example. We can actually debate the specifics. Your generalities are really not even worth responding to though. All you're basically saying is "winmo sucks" over and over. I know you're not trying to be a troll, so try to back that claim up. Give me an example.
This post has been thanked 1 times.

I just asked you to tell me the 20 top things the average person does with their tp2 and i will tell you how 18 of them are easier with the nexus one. When you say revolutionize, do you really think its going to be bigger then itunes, i know you don't really believe that?

Yes, I DO think it will be bigger than iTunes. Either that or iTunes will start price matching. Either way, it will be something that hasn't been done yet that everyone else will have to react to. That IS revolutionizing the mobile market.

And don't try to put this on me. You were the one saying how Android had all these features that WinMo won't get for a year. I'm asking you to list them. And you were the one saying Mobile Shell isn't integrated into the OS. I'm asking you to give me an example of how it isn't.

Things the average person does? How about types up a word doc, creates a spreadsheet, or watches a slingbox? Does android do any of those things better? lol, give me some examples man.

just like i thought, you named the 3 things the android can't do except document viewing is somewhat easier with the app then it is for viewing word and excel, but you must not understand the meaning of everything which is why don't dont want to say anything other then those 3 things. man EVERY SINGLE THING IS EASIER, WHETHER ITS WITH APPS OR NOT. webbrowsing with the browser is killing opera, skyfire, and of course ie. when you line up page to page browsing opera 9.7 and opera 10 aren't cutting it. If its webkits then its webkits i'm sorry its better on 8 out of 10 sites. a persons contact card and the way its integrated into the google phone is no joke, especially if you use google like me anyways. text messaging integration into the contact card. When you receive links the youtube integration. Like i said earlier if you receive a link to a certain youtube winmo 6.5 doesn't really know where to open it. The reason you say the youtube app on winmo is garbage is because youre right it doesn't give you full youtube access, the one on the android is full youtube where you can log in and everything. you have access to your full account. i don't even want to get into all the google products which make life easier as well plus ALL OF THE GOOGLE APPS make life easier. I could keep on going but you get the point, like i said WHATEVER THE TOP 20 THINGS YOU DO WITH YOUR PHONE THAT YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO NAME, ITS EASIER ON ANDROID. all you have is slingbox man.
