I worked for Sprint long enough to be semi-brainwashed and I won't leave as long as I keep SERO, but I do see good things coming from Sprint in the near future as well.

I'm trying to keep an open mind as much as possible in regards to the networks and their various pros/cons.
I'm trying to keep an open mind too. Like I said, I actually have Sprint right now. I just know that good CDMA devices are fewer and farther between than good GSM devices. And this was even with Verizon, the largest carrier in the nation, using CDMA. How is it going to be when Sprint is the only carrier supporting WiMax?

the fact that sprint is using wimax has nothing to do with the fact of carriers supporting that or not, its only a radio. Where sprint will lose is if they spend all this money on a service and then the max output isn't as high as lte and then they have to rebuild another service to compete with lte, that would be the disadvantage of wimax not blowing up.

Re: Who plans to go HD2?

The biggest advantage of Wimax is bandwidth. They have plenty of it. Enough to keep it uncapped (unlike current 3G networks). There is speculation that LTE will continue with data caps and 5GB isn't going to cut it soon.

Before you jump all over me for that, not that I said speculation. I could be wrong, but until someone actually launches LTE, we can only speculate.

That's hilarious you continually bash Sprint (not just this thread, lot's), nitpicking and distorting facts, really pathetic, kinda like the guy who hates his girlfriend and continually talks crap about her, but isn't man enough to leave her, go get an iphone like you wanted before, already.

Not even going to list all of your flawed arguments on this OFFTOPIC topic as it's OFFTOPIC and besides I'd be here well into 2010.

Well gotta go preorder my Sprint HD2, lol

Totally wrong. If Sprint is the only carrier using WiMax, nobody will even bother making devices that support it. Kind of like IDEN right now.

SHow your facts if you have them. Don't come in here and BS us all with nonsense.

For the record, I have never wanted an iPhone and I would love for you to prove it of you are claiming otherwise.

I had AT&T, and I left them for Sprint about 2 months ago. Get your facts straight.

Lets see you refute some of my arguments, like you claim you can. I am speaking in facts, fanboy.

Well when EVDO first launched it was also uncapped and marketed as a replacement for home broadband. So we'll see if 4G stays that way for the long haul...
