Truth is Slim can't really speak facts, rather exaggerated opinions full of conviction and disregard.

In reality he doesnt have the numbers to correlate to properly in a comparison, bringing up mute points digresses the conversation and defeats the argument, not to mention it makes you look ignorant. that's just my opinion of course, take it with a grain of salt

p.s I use Pandora for Windows Mobile 6.5 on my WVGA screen everyday, i have my earphones on right now and have been this whole morning approving songs and thumbs downing them and so forth its a cool app, dont give me that sound quality stuff either, it sounds great with my earphones
i've never had a problem with pandora either. maybe it's just because i'm not looking for negatives in everything i use.
the sirius app i have works pretty good too. occasionally buffering.
sprint tv works very well (considering on the q9c it was worthless). my kids are always wanting to watch their cartoons on it (even with dvd in the car).
i guess the bottomline for me (besides that i wouldn't buy a phone till this fall at least because of contract): i'm not leaving sprint for any phone. not giving up my 30% discount i got years ago for them screwing up my plan.
my next phone needs to have touchscreen, slide out keyboard, preferably winmo (though i could probably get by with android, though skyfire would be missed), and 4g.
i can wait with my tp2 till sprint gets this type of phone.

Heck, I am in Bahrain right now, with unlimited HSDPA data, and I am still on the Sprint network. I have no needs that this phone does not provide.

That being said, I would not mind a faster processor, but I am not sure I want a capacitive screen. Unless you write all the graphics around large icons, having a stylus is VERY nice for web surfing. Anyways, I am happy with my TP2, VERY happy.

P.S. This won't stop me from getting a unlocked GSM HD2 while I am over here, just to check it out at some point... You should see all the Nokia phones over here! CRAZY!
i guess we are a dying breed. those of us who use a stylus. i prefer to use it when surfing the web and also surfing my rss feeds. i have one i can wrap around my finger i stole from my son's nintendo ds kit. i really hate smudges on my phone!

Then the Touch Pro 2 will be my last Winmo 7 phone. I'm still not interested in the Nexus One without a keyboard, but when a keyboard version of it is released it will probbaly be my next phone. Motorola is supposedly making a Nexus 2 with a keyboard, so that could be it.

Of course, if it turns out to be false, then I'll probably stick with winmo. but that report says no multitasking, can only install apps from the marketplace (no more cabs), no more 3rd party user interfaces like TouchFlo or Mobile Shell, and using the zune software to sync. If that is true, forget about it. I'll go Android for sure.
i hope microsoft isn't dumb enough to do that. those are the key things that it has going for it right now.
i think this was written by an apple fanboy... (i hope anyways)

Once again why is skyfire the major claim to fame here? We're talking about a web browser that's really just a rendering of a page transferred from a server.. it isnt even a real browser they just parse the images. If it comes down to the ability to use skyfire vs better apps, speed, screen response, and being more user friendly I have to choose the second option.

Its funny how they compare the whole OS to the nexus only. The nexus is only 1 phone. Like I said people with androids don't feel the urge to upgrade, but everyone including myself always feels like something is wrong with their current winmo phone So of course they run out and buy the newest winmo phone hoping its better then the last. Think about it, I've had every single winmo phone with Sprint, no way in hell am I going to even want to try every android.

What's really funny is every flash site you go to says adobe foe android is coming shortly. That flash excuse isn't going to cut it after a month or so. And just like you said, of those 2 which would you chose?

until another mobile browser comes out that can do what skyfire can (embedded video) then it is the sh!t.
i don't use it for everything, but it's nice to have the option.

android has been out how long??? of course most people aren't going to upgrade, they are still under contract. most people don't buy phones every 3 months.
