alot more verizon users are forced to use cell/wifi positioning, and I bet their getting lots of complaints about it and the accuracy.
does anyone know if the carrier customizations will work on wm5 and wm6? and on apache's? I would like to have my apache flashed for verizon but turn very boon when it comes to verizon..

Which carrier customizations? the ext rom ones can be canceled or do you mean something else.

Also now that I say VzW's MR1 update won't work with GPS there is this 'beta' program to enable it:

but I dont know how well it works. Also flashing back to custom roms may break GPS but Im not sure....

thanks for the heads-up. too bad, pretty soon they'll have to do something different, cuz it's starting to not be worth running all the time. hopefully they'll address some of the visual elements, so ppl will start buying it..

What a rip-off. I've been running all this time, I'm halfway to my first reward, and now the reward isn't worth as much as it was when I started. That, my friends, borders on fraud and possibly a breach of a unilateral contract.

It's not fraud since they are being up front about the change in policy and giving you a fair notice of that change. It's only a few days, but still a notice.

As far as breach of contract, again it's not. As a unilateral contract you are not obligated to accepted any offer or perform an action. If you choose to perform the action, mapping cells and APs to collect points, Navizon will be required to make good on their reward if you reach 10,000 points. However, you are not fufilling your end of the contract until you reach 10,000 points. So if Navizon is paying $15 at the time you reach 10,000 points, that's what they are obligated to pay you. If they are offering $10 at the time, which you are now aware of, that's what they are obligated to pay you. It doesn't matter when you accepted to perform the requirements of the contract. What counts is when you actually fufill the requirements of said contract.

Anyway, it's still free money for basically doing nothing so stop complaining.
