ha so basically it doesn't matter which number you have.... there are good and bad devices for each. guess we'll have to wait a couple of months and see if anything changes.

i have an 002. no screen lift and i havent used wifi enough to check performance. my battery life stinks even when using it with overclockwidget.

I had an 002 version. In portrait view, the notification bar did not work. I had a flush power button that was very hard to push. Never checked for light leakage and noticed that the lighting of the softkeys was very strange in that it worked some times and not others.

Exchanged for current unit and it is 003. Has a non-flush power button that works very well...easy to find and use. I do have slight light leakage but nothing that bothers me. This unit seems a bit better over all in speed. No lags, etc....

002 Version bought at Sprint Store 6/4. Have no leakage from screen and now get about 24-36 hours on charge. Used for business texts, emails, searching web , download of programs, and calls.
First day was hell with battery until I went thru phone settings.

I posted before I am using seidio case so hadn't noticed any light leakage but I took the case off this morning before I turned the lights on and saw it if I do have any screen rise going on it is so slight I can't really tell.OK my screen is lifted on the bottom left hand side.
