Re: EVO Full Root|Recovery|Nand Backup/Restore|Flashing for n00b's Instructions & Vid

I can't seem to get the mirror link for eng-PC36IMG.zip to work
and I believe the other file is corupt. When I download it (3 times now)
I get a 128MB file. I believe it's supposed to be 170MB.
Anybody else know where to find it?

I'm confused. Are you saying if I make a nand backup, I can't restore it until I do the full root? I'm pretty sure I've restored a nand backup without finishing all the steps. I can't remember what all I've done because I've been working extra hours and most of this stuff is done at night/early morning when I'm dogshat tired.

I'm uploading it to another mirror as we speak. I'll post when I have a link and I'll update the 1st post too.

I was under the impression that the files that need to be written/changed when you're restoring need to have NAND Unlocked inorder to work correctly.
I could be wrong. I've never tested it.

I'm checking out this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...66#post6938266 but I'm not sure exactly what the usb issue is that Calk was having. I'm waiting on him to answer the post. I thought his USB worked but he couldn't access the sd card maybe? I'm wondering if doing those steps would fix mine. It's just that mines never errored out.

I suggested that thread as a shot in the dark.
While calk's issue seems to have been USB recognition I'm 99% sure I've read posts where users said they were not able to charge and applying the USB fixed helped-could be wrong on that.
You have your post up there, hopefully some xda brain can help.
As I said earlier, I cant find anything on your issue via Google, could mean hardware issue. If calk's thread doesnt return results I'd try re-rooting.
