I feel your pain. If my hairs were not so short I would be there too.

Re: [TUTORIALS] EVO Full Root|OTA Root|Nand Backup/Restore|Flashing|for n00b's + vide
Nope. The PC36IMG is just the file format, not reflective of the content.
Just retry your DL. Possibly a firewall or virus protection is getting in the way? |

re-download it from post#1 http://sdx-downloads.com/sdx/evo/troot/eng-PC36IMG.zip
Same size. Where else can I get this file to unlock nand? [oh anti-virus and firewall off] The PC36IMG is only 121.9MB this was the one that was originally named eng-PC36IMG.zip. but to unlock nand you have to change it to PC36IMG.zip and the original PC36IMG.zip will change to root-PC36IMG.zip Last edited by travisr528; 07-18-2010 at 10:26 PM. |

Re: [TUTORIALS] EVO Full Root|OTA Root|Nand Backup/Restore|Flashing|for n00b's + vide
I've just downloaded eng-PC36IMG.zip again from both links in the first thread.
Both of them worked. The only other link I can offer is the link from the original post which is an FTP site. ftp://ftp.relentlessaddictions.com/PC36IMG.zip Everytime someone says the links aren't working correctly, I re-download the file and I have yet to ever download a partial file. When download links break, they don't give you partial files, the link stops working all together. So if the download starts and you have a decent connection, it should finish. The only way the original file from the link would be corrupted is if the file I uploaded was corrupt. It wouldn't serve any purpose to the sites hosting the files to randomly change the file w/ another file of the same name that's corrupted. They make money if they are a reliable source for file sharing. If they start swapping files at will, they wouldn't be in business very long.
