Just got my call from BB to set up my appointment. My store (Indianapolis - Lafayette Rd.) is opening at 10. I gave him an appointment time during my lunch break but told him, I wasn't 100% sure I would be able to come at that time. Guy told me that if for some reason I needed to change my appointment, I could just call back later and do so and it wouldn't be a problem. He told me there were only 2 other appointments ahead of mine which is interesting since I pre-ordered on Sunday the 16th. I would have thought more people would have gone in and pre-ordered by that point. Who knows? Maybe there were and I was just the 3rd person they were able to get in touch with by phone. I'm hoping that there just isn't alot of traffic at that store. Hopefully, I will be able to get in and out on Friday and not be late from lunch. About how long does it take to complete the transaction? Anyone know from experience with previous phone preorders?

Yay! Bestbuy just called me a few hours ago; they said I could set my appointment as earlier as 8 o.O! Since I don't go to sleep till 6 in the morning I opted to go in at 2:30 .

Why not just stay awake 2 more hours and get the phone at 8am?

that is incorrect, but it COULD be a market specific deal, but i doubt it.

NOOB Question:

I have always either bought my phones from sprint directly or from craigslist so I'm curious...

Will we all be charged the $18 activation fee for buying radio shack or best buy?

I ask because i just went to sprint.com to check my upgrade eligibility and at the bottem it says that the $18 activation fee is waived for online purchases. That made me kinda think well what about 3rd party distributors like walmart, bb and rs? Anybody got details on this?

Because I'm going with my friend in the afternoon so I can help her pick out a phone as well.

Also it's a 40 minute drive to my best buy. I don't feel like driving 40 minutes while I'm passing out ! Nice thing is that I will get to try out 4G since they have 4G in that area . To bad 4G is 40 minutes away from me and no in my city yet

havent gotten a call from BB either, im in memphis.
today im going to call to get more information. im number 13 on the list (wow lucky number 13 eh? pffft) so hopefully im not on the 2nd wave. I want it FRIDAY.

i also changed my plan yesterday to 450 unlim data plan to prepare. These jokers better have my phone friday or imma be PEEE-OHHHH'd
