the CS girl told me her notes say to tell me to think of it as paying for first class on an airplane. i need to pay $10 a month to "access the fast processor". i laughed and said good day.
I just went to AT&T's site just for kicks and saw that the Data plan price for the iPhone and it's $30.00, so Sprint charging $10 more is not that bad.

OMFG thanks for the BREAKING NEWS. J/K..

You have to pay $50 deposit to get the $50 gift card, so.... its moot, just secures a phone for you on release day.

There is only about 500 other threads stating this.

Re: All Evo 4G Pre-Order Discussions Go Here

I just went and preorded at Best buy. I did get the 50 gift card .. BUT .. they guy said it does NOT guarantee a phone on June 4th. I said huh? He said we don't know how many are coming in. I did not argue, but that kinda blows.

Not trying to be rude but yes please try and read through the previous posts before posting something as obvious as this.

I came to the same conclusion. Here is response I got from Sprint:

"Dear Randal Amante,

Thank you for contacting Sprint regarding wifi service.

You need to add Hotspot add-on for $29.99 in order to Wi-FI to function on EVO handset.

We value your business and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Please reply to this email or visit Sprint.com/mysprint if we can be of further assistance.

Re: All Evo 4G Pre-Order Discussions Go Here

I wonder if you show something about Radioshack giving a $20 gift card , will Best Buy offer the same. I would get it from Radio Shack but I've already got Best Buy gift cards I'm going to use to buy it.
