Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

There are no TTS Maps for TomTom. Also, they only recently released a 'Truck' version, and it is not available for Navigator.

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

It seems like this version is very laggy on my diamond. I touched the selection and then about 1 second later it responded.

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

can Tom Tom be bought for the PPC for the US? I did not see it on their site. I have been using IGuidance 4 and I am tired of using GPS Gate to reduce the lag.

Hey stevedog, is the 8.xxx series better than the 7.xxx series in detail? The size of the 8.xxx file is about half that of the 7.xxx. Is some detail lost or is the file just packaged differently? I PM'ed you earlier about this topic. Thanks.

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

You're obviously not comparing similar maps... NA vs USA/Canada is obviously going to be different.

Is the US_Canada more detailed or are there other differences? I just assumed the two maps covered the same area...help me understand the difference. Thanks TC.

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

I like Sprint Navigation, I just wish there were mods available for it. I want to change my car icon to the speed racer car or a horse and buggy.
