Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

so i recently got my cough legal map working on version 7.450 and just upgraded to your 7.9 version and am getting the "map cannot be activated" message again after simply just upgrading tomtom.

Is this normal? map version 7.2 btw
I didn't know upgrading the interface itself would throw off the activation again otherwise i wouldn't have done it....

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

alright nm. got it working again.

Now the only problem is that signal lock on times actually seem noticeably longer with this new version, although it does look alot better than 7.45 qvga!

I cannot confirm v7.2 working on this version, as I don't have it. All I can say is do whatever you did to get it to work on 7.4 to see if it works with 7.9 as well.

If it doesn't work, just uninstall 7.9 and reinstall 7.450, and your back to where you were.

yeah. turns out you need to reactivate the map with special "FORBIDDEN WORD REMOVED BY MODERATOR", so therefore here is our policy in case I (the poster) haven't read it:

09/02/08 - ZERO-TOLERANCE REMINDERS

This is a reminder that this website has a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy on posting warez, asking for warez, or anything related to warez.

You WILL be banned if you post anything about warez (keygens, serials, cracks, anything about getting paid software for free).

thx

by the way, why the hell hasn't tomtom jumped on the "vocalize street names" feature yet like every other gps out there. Tomtom has too good of a user friendly gui and accurate routes to pass up though

The "K" word is forbidden here, so as fair warning please edit your post before I do. You have until the end of my lunch time to do so. Thank you.

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

Anybody tried the .9196 version? It is unbelievably fast compared to the previous versions.

Are you referring to v7.9196? If so, then no. I didn't even know it existed!

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

Thanks Egriffin. Activated and using the newer version. Seems exactly the same to me, and works just as well, so I'm just gonna leave it installed. Hopefully I'll notice some improvement somewhere with it. Thanks again!
