2 Hours of research, and I got v8.15.2022 maps working..... I'm happier than a fat kit at a buffet.

Secondly, this IS NOT 7.450. The interface is the same, but version numbers are different for a reason. 7.910 Navcore allows LEGAL Tomtom users to activate version v8.15 (2022+) maps on their phones. Everything being discussed here is well beyond the realms of legal. Especially those 2022 USA and Canada maps that 'you got working'.

Nothing illegal going on here. I legally own the map on my PNA that I also legally own, and I finally got it to work with my PDA. Wanted others to know that it was possible.

Even your statement is admitting that what you're doing is illegal, right after you say its not. TomTom has licensed you a map for your PNA, and that's it. In no way does their licensing agreement allow you to transfer it to whatever devices you own. That's like me saying, 'I have this copy of XP, I can install it on all 10 of my computers'.

As for the fact that you 'got it to work' on your PDA. How? By generating false dct files using hacked meta codes, and a cracking program? Others can know it's possible, but don't try and say it's legal when it's not.

That is why I say it shouldn't be discussed here.

OMG YOU'RE BREAKING THE FOURTH LAW....BLASPHEMY!

But seriously though you make some good points. I think its best to just use this TomTom version on v6 maps that are legally bought and not dicuss anything further. I am using it on my v675 maps and it works great.
