whenever i run tomtom7,it says no gps device,google maps and windows live search both lock onto satellites fine,any idea what could be the problem

More info please. Phone model? Carrier? Stock rom? Custom Rom?

Edit: Did you configure your GPS settings within TomTom?

Mine has a tendency to do that as well. I just press the bottom right square on the screen and then press the satellite rectangle then press the config button and then just hit the select button. Almost as if I am priming it. Try that and see if it helps. May be a stupid question but you are outside right?

im running conflippers latest rom,in alltel touch diamond,and i did configure my gps inside tomtom

After i download the app it tells me i can get a free map. Where do I get the free map? I went on their website but was unable to download the map for U.S. Anyone has the map for U.S. that they could post. Thanks

You CANNOT get a free map. That program was designed for EU users have paid for a Diamond that had the application included.

Did you even read the very first post?

I am used to using a Garmin Nuvi in my car. With it I could select the type of transportation I am using ie: car/truck/etc. If I select truck, then only routes that allow trucks are displayed (some highways simply don't allow trucks, etc). I can't find this option in TomTom Navigator. Anyone have any thoughts? I have a boat and when I trailer I have to be careful to only go on truck-permitted roads.

PS. Missing the text-to-speech too ): It looks like iGuidance is the only product that supports TTS on Windows Mobile.
