It is 7.45 but made specifically for the Diamond/Pro VGA screens. Large Menu's (Didnt post a screenshot of it). It going to look the same, because it is the same, but until its on your phone, then you realize that everything fits so much better on your VGA screen (as opposed to qvga in the 7.45 release).

Dont mean to be redundant but, Too clarify it further it looks the way it's supposed to look, not Miniaturized (Maps, Navigation screen, menu's...ect..)

Hope that clears it for you.

EDIT: I tried to edit it for you, but your too fast for me

I think the Free map option only works if you just purchased TomTom and installed for the first time.

From what I understand, this is the version that comes preinstalled in Diamonds in other countries (Netherlands for sure), and the cab was extracted. Not sure why you're tt7 maps don't work. Wish I could help more. If I find something I'll let you know for sure.

So your TT6 maps work, but my TT7 maps don't -- weird..

I guess I could use my old TT6 maps, but they're, well -- old.

I guess I'm happy with the version of TT7 I already have anyway, but thanks.

You're welcome. I'll continue to try to find a fix for you, and update if I do.

Re: TomTom Navigator 7.9 VGA Version

How do i obtain maps for tt? I assume you have to go to tt website and purchase a map ($100)

If I install this cab (page 1) and buy the map from TT is that the best/only way to get TT working on my phone?
