If you keep the phone knowing this, why shouldn't someone press charges as you are knowingly keeping stolen property.

This is why I am working with Sprint's fraud department and have not gone to the police. I will let them decide who should be charged for this. I do not want to F***** an innocent person over. The fact is, it is a stolen phone, your actions what you do with it after you found out it was an insurance scam determines what happens to you.
I recieved a phone from cbecker08. It came overnighted from sprint as a replacement. I called sprint and assurion. They both told me it was there mistake, I should not have recieved the phone. They said since it was their mistake, there was nothing I could do through them... I have to contact ebay and paypal.

The scam I got was a little different though. On the reciept, it had a different account number, but -> the authorization code was all zeros, it should have been populated<- This smells like an inside job to me.

Now, with me knowing it was a scam, me going out of my way losing 1 hr of minutes on the phone with sprint and 45 minutes with assurion to show its a scam and they do nothing in return, are you going to sue me too?

Lets see in all my posts I re-read over and over, I am unable to find the part where I said I was going to sue someone. I think if you would have stopped and thought before that last comment you would see that I said people should work with Sprint's fraud department. If they are not going to do anything about it, that is up too them, not me. What else should you do about it, not sure as you contacted Sprint and Asurion.

All I know is my account was used for this scam and I did not buy a phone off ebay. How would you feel if someone was using your account for insurance fraud, I think you would work to press charges against them also. Anyhow, hopefully Sprint and Asurion have a trail to follow to bring the scammers to justice, not anyone that was scammed either by buying a phone or had their account used as part of it.

Re: Diamonds on eBay

I bought one from "alayou" on ebay, has 100% feedback and lots of feedback, so I was good with that. Haven't had a single problem with it, activation was kind of rough because the people at sprint are morons, but hardly the fault of the seller. I got it in a decent amount of time. (for ebay) Been running for over a month with no issues.

Re: Diamonds on eBay

Movax and the other guy on here said it took close to 10 days so we might actually get the phone. What sucks is that I want to just go to the store and purchase one because this is taking a long *** time but I don't want to buy another one than a day later have lkcarter's at my door step. I think I will give it till the end of the week, paypal purchase went through on Dec. 2 therefore I technically could receive it up till the 14, excluding the weekend not being business days. That would be great if you can reply as soon as you get yours... that is if you get yours.

If your paypal account went through on Dec 2 that would mean that the phone could arrive as late as the 17 assuming that he sent it off the day after receiving funds.

Re: Diamonds on eBay

but if you look at everyone else that bought from lkcarter... it took exactly 10 days... such is the case when people bought on Nov 16 they posted on Nov 26 their feedback. Also I think he might have sent in the order because he was removed after the Dec 4th and we purchased ours on the 1st and 2nd.... i just need a phone and would like to know if we are getting them... if not ok then i can at least make other plans.
