1) You need to either call Sprint, or if your online login into your sprint.com account and chat with one of the reps.
2) Ask them to DROP PICTUREMAIL off your account and do an IOTA. Then readd PICTUREMAIL back onto your account.
3)After this happens they will send you a test picture to your phone, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go into your picturemail tab and hit the send/receive in the menu selection
4)Get a confirmation they did the IOTA and re-added the picturemail to your account reboot your Diamond.
5)Your picturemail should now be working. If not just PM me and I will do what I can to help you out.

Tried to do all that. They wouldnt remove pic mail and re-add it. Told me that it wasn't necessary and that there's an issue in my area (which I know is a load of BS). I've done everything else, but since they won't do their part, not much I can do to get it working tonight. Guess I'll try and call tomorrow and see if I can get someone whos willing to do it.

Re: Diamond Picmail Question

I give up. Wasted half an hour trying to get them to remove pic mail, iota, then re-add it. They managed to disable my internet completely, and have no idea how to fix it, and still insist that picture mail is supposed to come via text message and not the application.

This really works. I called Sprint and asked them to do the Iota and she did it but she also had me go to the dial pad and select options and then press the "get setttings" button on the screen and it did some kind of update. Then I soft reseted a few times went to the picturemail website on my computer and click the login ans asked them to send my password and then it worked.

That really sux, but, good news for you is you don't have to sit on the phone with them. All you have to do is go to the Sprint homepage, login, click chat with a rep, and tell them exactly what I wrote in the instructions. They work a lot faster and it's less of hassle then sitting on the phone with someone who can't understand you. I want to add one last thing, don't let them feed you that Picturemail is supposed to come thru a URL bull, cause it's not true. So do that and once you get it working PM me and I will send you the cab for the upgrade or you can download it directly from the powerdeck site on your Diamond.

You talked 2 a rep that wasnt knowledegable. Call n tell rep that u want picmail taken off n put back on. Also male sure picmail knows its a diamond, different from the actual account. Others said these methods worked.

I already had one, but when I logged in yesterday it had me setup a username and new password. I sent a test message to myself and it worked, but when someone else sent me one it didn't.

I did use the chat function on the website. After almost 3 hours I spoke to a supervisor who did exactly what steps you said to do (nobody else would do it, they all told me it wasn't necessary, and that picture mail was SUPPOSED to work the way it was).

Even the supervisor didn't want to do it, until I started getting a little PO'd about it, then they did it. What a pain in the rear. I got the upgrade cab already (already had it actually).

What another adventure with Sprint. Oh well, thanks for your help. Now I must sleep.

Maybe I'm not following this but try this. Private Message me your Sprint Picture Mail address (?????????????@pm.sprint.com) I will send you a picture of a Harley. Then let me know if it comes thru on your PicMail account on your phone.

Re: Diamond Picmail Question

I got off the phone with employee care, and she confirmed this. I had an old picture mail code I guess. I took the battery out, she updated the code, put the battery back in, sent a picture, and it came through as a picture mail.
