Re: Diamond Picmail Question

I've already written a thread on exactly what you need to do to address the issue, did you use the search button? Whatever the case maybe, I am going to help you out. Follow these instructions exactly.
1) You need to either call Sprint, or if your online login into your sprint.com account and chat with one of the reps.
2) Ask them to DROP PICTUREMAIL off your account and do an IOTA. Then readd PICTUREMAIL back onto your account.
3)After this happens they will send you a test picture to your phone, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go into your picturemail tab and hit the send/receive in the menu selection
4)Get a confirmation they did the IOTA and re-added the picturemail to your account reboot your Diamond.
5)Your picturemail should now be working. If not just PM me and I will do what I can to help you out.

Tried to do all that. They wouldnt remove pic mail and re-add it. Told me that it wasn't necessary and that there's an issue in my area (which I know is a load of BS). I've done everything else, but since they won't do their part, not much I can do to get it working tonight. Guess I'll try and call tomorrow and see if I can get someone whos willing to do it.

This really works. I called Sprint and asked them to do the Iota and she did it but she also had me go to the dial pad and select options and then press the "get setttings" button on the screen and it did some kind of update. Then I soft reseted a few times went to the picturemail website on my computer and click the login ans asked them to send my password and then it worked.

This solution also worked for me. It took a couple calls to Sprint, but it worked. Has anyone found the registry edit to disable the notification ballon when you recieve a picture message?

I'd like to know the same thing. I looked around, but couldn't find anything, so maybe someone knows.

I followed these directions and asked the sprint rep to follow them to the "T" and it actually worked.

Re: Diamond Picmail Question

My picture mail works except half the stuff I send out never gets delivered. Some stuff eventually does go through but it takes a long time to send. Is everyone having this kind of problem?

Re: Diamond Picmail Question

I know what you mean, I experienced this same issue also. I have found a solution albeit, it's not a simple one though. This is what you need to do, whenever you send a pic/video message, you will see the data bars, click continue and if they are no longer showing go to weather or even Sprint TV and hit update.
This will give the data connection the boost it needs to keep sending your pic/video. I have used the Diamond Tweaks program and that has helped tremendously, but this is the best method I have come across so far to keep the data flowing.

Re: Diamond Picmail Question

I haven't tried any of the fixes listed above yet, cause if I can avoid calling in CC I will be happy! What happened is I rcvd some picmail from friend who is also on Sprint no problem and replied text only through picmail app, so I know it works/worked. Now, however, I then (a couple days later) tried to send multiple pics to my sister who is on Verizon and she hasn't rcvd any of them?

This is the only problem I had w/the phone, so far, it is much better then the original Touch! And was really excited about it having standard picmail, any help anyone?

Thanks!

Justin
