Re: Battery Fix

I just checked my settings and they already set to 4E20 or 20000 on a stock sprint ROM, my TP has a build date of 18 Dec 08.

Re: Battery Fix

I checked mine and it was set at 25000 (using mighty rom). If I increase it to lets say 50000, what does this exactly mean? And would this increase my battery life?

It won't poll your battery as often, which may save a little battery life. But you have to remember the longer you make the poll interval, the more likely you are to see bigger drops in % when it is polled.

Re: Battery Fix

Just thought I'd help out some people that were having trouble,
Here's a cab I've made of this registry hack according to post 1:
Code:
http://rapidshare.com/files/221506540/SHK_Customs_Battery_Poll_Interval_Changer.cab
Just copy file to phone or sd card, open up a file explorer, locate file, and execute it.
(If it asks for location choose device)
**Use at own risk. But I have used it to install the hack to my phone.

Re: Battery Fix

I have the stock rom, I performed the registry change and turned bluetooth off, after 8 hours of light use, my battery reads at 70%. I'm happy. I don't know how much turning off the bluetooth had to do with it. But yesterday, my battery was dead around 1pm.

Re: Battery Fix

Will this registry change increase battery life if using the stock ROM?

I have the stock ROM, tried it, and did not get an increase in talk time to my knowledge. I still only get around 2 hours of talk time. It may have increased the standby time but that is harder for me to measure.
