Good point. Sometimes you can run up some extreme temperatures when you're in a fringe signal area. Switching to roaming only will save some battery life and increase your call quality

Happy to report that I have applied this tweak to my stock Sprint Rom and along with the "Diamond Tweaks" program my battery life has doubled. I have now gone 2 full days on a single charge with moderate use. A lot of text, a few phone calls and some internet surfing. Before I got about 5-7 hours use. Seems extreme, but really. It's like a whole new phone. Like the way it should of come out of the box..oh, I did however turn my brightness to the 2nd lowest setting, and switched both email and weather to manual updates. do u have a cab or zip for the diamond tweaks program ?? the one i found was for t mobile and messed up all my settings and tf3d themes !!

A cab. Can't remember where I got it though. Just came across it one day in my quest for better battery life.

this tweak on my stock ROM has really slowed down my battery power deterioration.
I am consistently getting a full days use before charging for over night.
Even with less than full charge starting the day, it never goes red even with heavy talk/data/video usage.

Just as some of the other members have reported, this mod works great!! It worked pretty well on the Diamond - when I had one. But, this really works great on the Pro, I can go over a day with Data, a few calls, music, bt and lots of bubble breaker usage. If you have Total Commander, you can just use that to edit the reg, I don't know if there's a cab available but this isn't hard to do yourself.
