Re: Sprint MMS
Does anyone with a WORKING picture have audible alert when a PM arrives? Or, have you been able to configure your device to give an audible alert when a PM arrives?
Thanks. |

Re: Sprint MMS
I just got off the phone with a Sprint Tech and the problem with the Pic Mail is that some of our accounts are not updating correctly with the Diamond being listed as the phone being used. mine still showed my old 6700. The tech reprovisioned my account now all is good..I also didn't lose any pics...hope this helps some of you...Reprovision of the account is the only way to correct this problem

Re: Sprint MMS
Attention! Attention! I think I have finally found a fix for those of you having problems with Picturemail. I can't guarantee this is going to work for you all, but, hey, I was in the same boat. The Following are the steps I took.
1. goto www.sprint.com/picturemail and sign into your account, change your account name to (whatever you decide)@pm.sprint.com and put in your old password and then you can put in your old password again if you like, I did that. 2. Backup your settings on your phone hard reset, and let the phone power back on, DO NOT TAP THE SCREEN AND SETUP THE DEVICE YET. 3. This is the time you have the sprint rep drop picturemail off your account, then do an IOTA and then after that re add picturemail back to your account. 4. Then let your phone boot, install the customizations and reset, and reboot. 5. In your inbox you should have 2 txt msgs about sprint removing and readding services back to your device. 6. Your picturemail should now be working, so have someone send you a pic or you send them one.

Re: Sprint MMS
I called CS yesterday for another issue, but my PIctureMail was also not working. During the troubleshooting process for my other issue, advanced technical support had me do a hard reset. They had me use a dialer code to do it though. After the hard reset, the phone did the wireless activation, but was successful this time. I then restored from a SPB Backup I'd made. After this, my PictureMail is now showing up in the PictureMail account on the phone, not a SMS with link. So here's the steps I took to get it working (you'll need your MSL code):
1) Go to the dialpad and type ##786# 2) On the right soft key tap Menu, then tap Reset 3) Enter the lock code (your MSL) 4) Let the phone boot completely following the setup screen 5) Let the Customizations run. It'll soft reset your phone 6) The phone will boot again, run the wireless activation, then the phone will soft reset 7) PictureMail should now be working. If you have a backup made, you can restore from it. It'll still work after restoring. I hope this works for others, it worked great for me. |

Re: Sprint MMS
i finally got my picture mail working. i had to call sprint tech support. he messed my phone up even worse where i couldn't even get on the internet. he had to send me to a higher up tech support, and after a long time, and a hard reset, they finally got it working. i suggest everyone just called tech support, and prepare for a hard reset.
