Re: Sprint MMS
I have an old SERO account. The agent was able to remove MMS, but was unable to add it back at $0. He had to add it back at $5/month, then add a recurring $5 credit. I hope Ensemble does not remove it. I had him note the account.
After that and an IOTA, MMS is now working. My theory is that the older MMS accounts send the PM with a slightly different header/data, so that the MMS client does not pick it up as MMS. Once rebuild, the information is updated. Now then, I'm not fond of the MMS client. The big issue is that I get no notification (no LED, no sound) when an MMS arrives. There is no setting inside the Sounds & Notifications for MMS. I may go back to sMMS. I wonder if sMMS will overtake the built in client properly... |

Re: Sprint MMS
Does anyone with a WORKING picture have audible alert when a PM arrives? Or, have you been able to configure your device to give an audible alert when a PM arrives?
Thanks. |

Re: Sprint MMS
I just got off the phone with a Sprint Tech and the problem with the Pic Mail is that some of our accounts are not updating correctly with the Diamond being listed as the phone being used. mine still showed my old 6700. The tech reprovisioned my account now all is good..I also didn't lose any pics...hope this helps some of you...Reprovision of the account is the only way to correct this problem

Re: Sprint MMS
Attention! Attention! I think I have finally found a fix for those of you having problems with Picturemail. I can't guarantee this is going to work for you all, but, hey, I was in the same boat. The Following are the steps I took.
1. goto www.sprint.com/picturemail and sign into your account, change your account name to (whatever you decide)@pm.sprint.com and put in your old password and then you can put in your old password again if you like, I did that. 2. Backup your settings on your phone hard reset, and let the phone power back on, DO NOT TAP THE SCREEN AND SETUP THE DEVICE YET. 3. This is the time you have the sprint rep drop picturemail off your account, then do an IOTA and then after that re add picturemail back to your account. 4. Then let your phone boot, install the customizations and reset, and reboot. 5. In your inbox you should have 2 txt msgs about sprint removing and readding services back to your device. 6. Your picturemail should now be working, so have someone send you a pic or you send them one.
