Re: Diamond retentions deals

There is an easier way of getting your phone replaced if it does have REAL problems SPECIALLY ( hint hint) if when the END OF LIFE * not offered on the web* that Ausurion will provide a model that is similar in features. IE MOGUL VS TOUCH PRO but the regular agent will not be able to order it and a supervisor at AUSURION will have to get involved. HINT HINT. I got my i850 that is at end of life and no longer refurbed with a i880 this way.

Re: Diamond retentions deals

TO the OP - I want to thank you for trying to let us know when a bargain is available. I don't have SERO but it is always nice to know when someone manages a good deal as it may assist others in the same boat.

I was told retentions couldn't do a thing any more - not so - I called this morning and got 200 extra minutes each month.

Hopefully someone won't post that I'm single handedly bringing down Sprint by asking for more minutes I may or may not use every month

Re: Diamond retentions deals

Do not get me wrong it is not that if you do have a REAL problem with your account then no problem it is the ones that have no problems that ruin it for those who do. BTW trust me the Ausurion thing works

Re: Diamond retentions deals

i spoke to telesales which in return had to speak to their national unit which had to review my account. after being put on hold numerous times the rep told me i was denied any sort of discount besides the 75/150 discount. after speaking to the rep about how new customers get everything and long existing customers get nothing and asking to be put through to the cancellation dept, the rep put me on hold again, came back in a few seconds and said sorry about this mixup the phone is yours for 249. so there you have it

Re: Diamond retentions deals

Called retentions for the second time, still being offered with 575$/2 phones plus MIR of 100 on one phone coz the other has been only 6 months in contract.
Here the breakdown:
Phone 1: contract expires nov 2009
Phone 2: contract expires aug 2010 (got a touch in feb 08, free airave last week but had to extend the contract)
basically i qualify for 75 on fone 2, given 200 off on fone one and 250 off thru retentions:
550*2= 1100-75-200-250=575/2 fones, when MIR comes thru, its 475/2 fones
I said pls notate all this on my account, i wud call back.
what do u guys suugest its good enough??? i am confused, cant resist!!

Re: Diamond retentions deals

To Chappy and others who seem to have issues with me getting some kind of "deal" and bitterness towards it. I the op clearly did not even get the best deal of what's been described by people so far. I decided to shell out 430!! dollars for the phone WITH a two year contract. The point here is that I am a loyal customer who pays on time every month, and yes I get a pretty good deal with the 50 dollar sero plan, but it is by no means 30 bucks a month. My issue which I tried to make clear to retentions, but perhaps not clearly enough was that if I was with sprint for 22 months but only wanted to sign a ONE year contract, I could have gotten the phone for 325! bucks, (550-75upgrade - 50IS -100MIR). This is the deal I was going for as i am only "one year" in and only eligible for the 75 dollar upgrade but NONE of the others? I still feel like I got a little ripped off at 430, but would have been happy to pay 325. I think mine is a story of sprint getting what they wanted which is me locked up for another 2 years, and myself getting the phone I want, and they only gave up an extra 45 bucks in rebate. I'd say for all of those so worried about sprint corporate, that they did quite well on my deal. 50/month *(24mo - 9mo remaining) = 750 dollars for the company.

I hope people keep posting the great deals they have gotten so I can be jealous
