Re: Diamond Release Speculation Thread
I just try to place an order for this phone through telesales and was transferred to the EVP department, which asked me for the email address and 3 digit code of the representative that sign me up for my sero account. Well...the problem is I wouldn't have that information, I had my sero account for 1.5 years now. Back then they didn't require customers to have all that info. So basically anyone that is on a Sero plan and want to upgrade there phones can't do it via telesales. They will transfer you to sprint EVP department which requires you to have the email address and code of the sprint employee who referred you to sero account. If you don't believe try calling now if you have a sero account and try to upgrade your phone to any random phone the same rules apply and not just for the diamond. So unless you have that information you can't upgrade your phone on the sero plan.

There is an email address and code freely given out by the sprint exec himself. I can't think of his name but a google search should bring it up easily. |

As of July 14, 2008, perhaps earlier, the Sprint SERO website asks for an employee ID number in addition to the employee email address. Russ McGuire, Vice President of strategy for Sprint, has revealed his email address along with the last 3 digits of his employee ID number: Russ.S.McGuire@Sprint.com and employee number of 383. It is not surprising that the Vice President of Strategy would release his information so that the masses could sign up for the Sprint Everything Plus Program, but be warned that the previous SERO plans had a limit to the number of sign ups under one employees email address. If you find yourself unable to login, a trip down to the Sprint Store to talk to a rep might help for the email address (ask for a business card). |
