fm radio isn't really that big of a deal breaker to me. Tuned.mobi lets me stream like 99% of all fm stations in the country.

The GSM specs say the FM Radio antenna is in the headphones, Anyone know if you can just install the software on the CDMA touch and use headphones that have a built in tuner??

I mentioned this in another thread, but I go to a gym where they have TV screens all over and to get the audio you have to tune into a specific FM station. It would be nice not to have to carry around a radio and a phone..

If the headphones have a built in tuner, why do you need a Diamond to listen to radio.... the tuner is supposed to be in the Diamond and the headphones act as an antenna.

Agreed. The very reason I have yet to buy and iPod of any size/style. I see no benefit in having to buy an additional FM adapter for an ipod (and try to remember to bring it with me to the gym) when there are many MP3 players with built in FM tuners for use at a gym.

idk if yall covered this im at work and in a hurry but just so you know the sprint Touch Diamond is scheduled to be released 9/14/08....a friend read it in the Sprint Playbook...249.99 saving 300.00 with rebates...but 549.99 out right...thank god its HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

I just stopped in my local sprint store, milwaukee wi, and the manager said she just heard this morning that they'll take orders within the store starting on sept 16th for direct shipment. The phones themselves wont be in this particular store until sometime in october, according to her. Kinda sounds like each store/region may be handling sale dates differently. Geeze, if this store isnt getting the diamond in until october, wonder when they'll get the touch pro? december?
