If you check out the Mogul forum you'll see people are doing the same thing. Saying their mogul doesn't work and get a Touch.
I might do the same thing again and get the Touch :P |

I've had my original 6700 for about 18 months but recently had problems with the digitizer not working in the middle top of the screen... Took it in to the Sprint shop, and they told me a replacement would be in in a few days... Ended up with another 6700... Not complaining... The new phone doesn't have the loose stylist problem and is very tight and clean over all... I have TEP so was free...

i tryed getting the upgrade and they are suppose to be sending a new 6700. my dealer said they had to have a list of several complaints before they would replace with a mogul... the pisser is i still cannot get the 6700 to work as a modem for my laptop...did you ever try??

didnt read the whole thread, but something doesnt make sense.
If you have the sprint warranty (which from my understanding was the only way to get a replacement), the insurance company that Sprint uses has PLENTY of 6700's and accessories to replace the phone. Is it the sprint store is being lazy and doesnt want to mess with it?

I can confirm my cousin reported her 6700 lost and when she called Sprint, they said they no longer have 6700 in stock and sent her a Mogul. Granted she had to pay that insurance fee now. She's not one to hunt down "deals" so for her that was great, especially considering she was about to just go and buy one to upgrade her phone, until she actually lost it. That is in Ft. Lauderdale where she lives.

I'm in Minneapolis and "accidentally" broke the sync/charge usb port on my 6700, so i went into Sprint knowing it was highly possible I would walk out with a Mogul. I was there for a total of about 10 minutes... Most of the time was spent giving my account information. The techs basically looked at my 6700, then kinda looked at eachother and grabbed me a new, not refurb Mogul no questions asked really. I "acted" mad about having a 2g mini sd and now would have to spend another $35 for a micro sd. The tech then let me know that it wouldn't even be possible to order me another 6700, but said he would swap me out a new micro sd for my used mini... that was awesome. So I am now the proud owner of a Mogul, and had it completely modded within an hour of getting it outta the box.

hey guys i just received a replacement 6700 because my 700p was crap. I tried talking them into a mogul but they said they cant because they had 6700s available.
WeLL two days later my usb is going out so I call the insurance and they tell me they will send a replacement. I let them know I felt I deserved the mogul because the age and problems with the 6700 and she only said she would note my account but I wouldnt know till I got the phone. Ill let you guys know what happens. If I dont get a 6800 Ill just go to the store after the 6700 breaks (which im sure it will) and demand a mogul. Hopefully they oblidge since im off contract. I took my 6700 that was having problems to the closest repair/replacement Sprint store where I live (DFW area). They told me a replacement would come in a few days. I got a call this morning, and to my suprise there was a 6800 waiting for me. It wasn't a new 6800, it was the same kind of replacment box I saw before when my 6700 was replaced a few months ago. My only complaint was that it was just the phone, no accessories. I was able to talk them into giving me a phone holder and a set of headphones for free. Now I just have to go buy a micro SD card.
