I use an H700 my Motorola and it works well. My wife has one also and she has never complained about it. I know there are cheaper knock-offs on ebay. Did you get your from a retail store or from the net somewhere?

I got mine from Costco. It was $39 where as HS700 goes for $50+. i assume then somethings must be cheap about it.
Also ia m thinking of getting Plantronics Voyager 510 . Anyone used it? |

I just replaced a Motorola H500 with a Plantronics Voyager 510 and love it! The Motorola worked great on my Razr, but it had low volume and lots of static on my PPC-6700. With the 510, people usually can't tell that I'm on Bluetooth.
The 510 has noise cancellation and easily works with multiple devices. When you make a call it defaults to the last device you used, but when a call comes in, it automatically detects which device is ringing, and switches to that device. |

Thanks a lot for that info. Just picked one on Ebay for $40. The seller claims to be original Plantronics Voyager 510. Let see. |

After Smashing yet another "Toothless Headset" I found the JABRA BT8010. With plenty of volume and features like caller id and A2DP with the stereo attachment it was everything i was looking for.

I use a Plantronics Discovery 655, which few callers can tell is a headset.
I had a Moto H 700, found out the hard way that the H stands for HUH! LOL! I also suggest http://blueheadsets.zoovy.com/ excellent pricing and a good selection of accessories.

I bought a Jabra BT150 for $10 and for $10 i couldnt be happier...mind you that I do experience the usual little static when walking away from the phone, and the wind noise cancellation isnt very good, but otherwise its decently loud and battery life is great.

I have a voyager 510 and love it. I drive truck and have a constant 85 to 95 db background noise. The noise cancelation removes this completely. Only problem I have had is wind. I have the first version of the 510 which has no built in windguard. Came with a foam windguard that makes it look like a big Q-tip so I don't use it. newer versions have it built into the tip. Loud call volume and audio on the other end is great if not a little too overmodulated/loud. And if you gave large ears it is the most comfortable I have found!

you want THE BEST BT headset??? Well it is by far the Jawbone. Oh my goodness, IT IS AMAZING! It is very stylish also. What sets it apart from other headsets is that is filters out ambient noise, so you can have a perfectly clear conversation with leafblowers and lawnmowers in the background. Watch the demo on the site
www.jawbone.com I got a black one from bestbuy. Bestbuy's price for it is actually 20 bucks above on the jawbone website, but ask them to do a price adjustment. They did it for me
