I am not seeing that here. Just tested an appointment with a reminder and everything came up normally.

Thanks, it's not happening consistently for me so I'm still not sure whats up. After a soft reset the reminder notice went through normally. This was the second time I'd seen this so I'd still like to hear if there is anyone else seeing this.

I've been trying various combos of the SPB OEMs with mal effect, so it could be related to that.

How to fix the SPB_Weather and SPB_Mobile_Shell CitiesDB.dat issue:

In Optional_SPB_Weather:
rename CitiesDB.dat to SPB_W_CitiesDB.dat
Edit InitFlashFiles.txt
change
Code:
Directory("\Windows\data"):-File("CitiesDB.dat","\Windows\CitiesDB.dat")
to
Code:
Directory("\Windows\data"):-File("CitiesDB.dat","\Windows\SPB_W_CitiesDB.dat")

If the phone is restarted while in it's cradle, or if restarted and then immediately placed in the cradle it will freeze during the second boot screen.

Does this occur on a stock phone?

I skipped the rebuilding DSM step, and by doing so I think I missed making needed registry edits.

Something I noticed today...I'm not in control of my volume. It'll boot with sound, and then switch to vib. And at one point I put the sound to 'Off' and a minute later, was back on all the way loud. No rhyme of reason that I can figure.

Anybody else have this issue?

Just flashed and noticed one minor issue with the Task Manager/Registry Editor 2.7. Clicking the search button causes the application to shut down every time. Has anyone else seen this? I have used this application with no problems whatsoever in prior kitchens.

I will probably try a hard reset tomorrow just to see if that helps but I wanted to check.

Great work by all as always.

edit: Actually, just trying to open up a regkey to change it's value causes the app to shut down as well... hmm

I'm not gonna try to setup Live, as logical deduction would surely result in yet another hard reset & I ain't do that again today, lol.

So it looks like you are correct, there is some kinda of conflict between HTC Home & Windows Live. For now I will do w/o Live until there is a resolution.

Thanks for your help Chill!
I'm having a similar hang on reboot issue, and I do not have HTC Home or Windows Live installed.

I'm experiencing problems with USB to PC. I get "failed to disable RNDIS to use Serial". Is there anything special I need to get this to work?

Also, WModem isn't turning on...I get "COM open error". Assuming this isnt working from the RNDIS not being disabled.
