I'm not gonna try to setup Live, as logical deduction would surely result in yet another hard reset & I ain't do that again today, lol.
So it looks like you are correct, there is some kinda of conflict between HTC Home & Windows Live. For now I will do w/o Live until there is a resolution.

I'm having a similar hang on reboot issue, and I do not have HTC Home or Windows Live installed.
