Re: sprint insurance replacement

just updating that last week, I had the end user on my other line call and do the same. Took her 30 mins but she had a titan overnighted on the way. This is a very legitimate claim. The sound level of the phone is incredibly low.

Re: sprint insurance replacement

Question to the people who did multiple replacements: did you have to pay $50 for every replacement? Just wondering how much did it cost to switch from 6700 to 6800/Touch?

Hi, thanks for your info. What is the number for the advanced tech support? I have Asurion insurance and do I still need to pay the nonrefundable $60? would they do the exchange if my phone is still in working condition? Thanks.

I forgot to mention on my earlier post here, the reason sprint support gave me a Mogul was because they saw the history that i was on my second phone...and then they approved it... again...do not let them transfer you to insurance claim...ask the support tech do it for you and connect you with the insurance claim while you on the phone with the tech support....let tech support explain the whole problem...
that works/ed for me.
I called Sprint Tech support and they said they cannot exchange my ppc6700 for a different phone. This is my first time calling. Does this only work after receiving your replacement? Are you saying I should have them send me another ppc6700 and call back again to complain? Thanks.

Cool. But trust me. That happiness won't last forever. This phone overheats badly... I am on my fourth one...

Re: sprint insurance replacement

I just tried calling and they told me its a $50 fee to replace the phone, or I can upgrade since I have the $150 credit to extend my contract.
I'm not interested in extending my contract, but for sure the volume on this thing is wayyy to low. I have the hardest time hearing people in the car. Does anyone have any advice or a straight forward approach to get it upgraded to the 6800? I don't want to end up paying the $50 having the same piece of junk and do everything over again. If I have to have it replaced over and over till they upgrade me then that would be fine, but I dont want to be forking out $50 each time. Any suggestions? And has anyone avoided the $50 fee? Thanks.

Re: sprint insurance replacement

You have to keep calling and get the right women in the right mood...

If dealing with Asurion, no , the $50 deductable is a must.

Re: sprint insurance replacement

I only paid one $50 fee and they sent me 2 ppc6700 replacements. I called them on my 2nd replacement and insisted that volume is too low. The guy finally send me a ppc6800.
