I'm really happy that you worked things out with the management. I will add the following:
I was a Senior Engineer for Sprint for five years. I supervised eight engineers and had been in the business for about 18 years. I worked for Cellular One, Southwestern Bell Mobile, GTE Mobilnet and then Sprint in my 18 years. I semi-retired a few years ago to run my wife's law office, but in all my years of engineering at the different companies, Sprint had the WORST customer service record of any. Within the company there were many times when I would see performance reports where customer service would rank at the lowest level of the company ranking and also rank at he lowest level of the industry, where the ranking was done by an independent company. There were several times when I would call the area VP to tell them that I had spent 30 minutes or more on hold while frustrated with customer service, and I worked for them! None of the negative that I have heard surprises me a bit. There are those here and there that will have had a positive experience, but the negative far out-weighs the positive.
To this day I still have Sprint, but that is because I signed a two-year contract after I left the company two years ago. As soon as my contract runs out, I will probably go to Verizon, which, from and engineering standpoint, has a better system. Internal data and independent tests prove that fact.
