Set the Rev to whatever bootloader your phone has. You can determine the bootloader version by entering bootloader mode (power + cassette + reset, hold in for about a second or two)

You need to download the latest .net framework. Should be 2.0 sp1 and it will fix you problem.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

Thanks to all the Kitchen-folk for all the fantastic work! Truly AMAZING what's been accomplished.

I've noticed two problems with Windows Media Player under 6.1 that got me flashin' back to 6.0 for the time being:

1) When I try to launch other apps while a licensed wma music file is playing, I get prompts saying the app is "not a valid pocket pc application". The errors don't happen when playing music that doesn't require a license (like tunes ripped from CD's).

2) When navigating the library heirchy, under Artist, the list usually shows no artists. If I navigate up to My Music and back down to Artist a few times, the list appears.

I noticed this too - thanks for posting the fix! It looked like the library information was being lost, but when I did what you wrote - toggle between artist and "all music" view a couple of times, the library shows up again.

Unhappy Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

I did the Update and this is what came up before installing to my phone.

ERROR BUILDING FILE SYSTEM
Compiled Size (0x4060000) greater than max rom size (0x38e5800)
Remove 0x77a8800 bytes (7841792 bytes).

I have the old WM6 from you guys on my phone now, and I wanted to
update it with this new one. Do you know what the program is telling me
to do?

Yep; that is telling you, that you made your ROM, and had too much items selected.
What items are you trying it with?
Are you using any personal OEM's?

If you want to upgrade to WM6.1, then use the Kitchen to do so.
See my post immediately above yours.
