Beam Missing 10 button comm manager

Anyone run into this yet with 071217.
Beam is missing in the bottom right corner (before install of PocketFMS - no pic included).
Also
As to the icon text getting trashed, That is PocketFMS causing it,
and I've got no clue as to why but that has been happening (multiple
ROM upgrades since AKU3.5 thru this build 20071217).

Click on the storage tab and see what size your card is by clicking to save attachments to storage card when available. That is a quick way to see if the rom is picking ext rom as your storage card. If that is the issue just hide your ext rom and the prob will be corrected. Not sure if this is the problem or solution but worth a look.
That problem is with the inbox software itself. All partitions and cards are considered storage cards by the OS and the inbox software just finds the extended rom first alphabetically. The camera actually seems to be coded to look for "\Storage Card" rather than just the first card found so it shouldn't be a problem.

You probably turned off the beam button in Advanced Config. Go in and make sure it's enabled.

For the font, PocketFMS (no idea what it is) probably installed a font and Comm Manager has been known to pick whichever random font it likes.

I think the reason someone was making a big deal about removing the splash banner giving recognition to helmi and ppcgeeks may be evident now after seeing this link.

On Fedora 8, I just tell NetworkManager to connect to a wireless network, my phone shows up in the list, select it and I'm on. The downside is the phone won't be charging through the USB port.
Yeah, this is an old laptop. It doesn't even have wifi... however, my PSP does. Yeah, i carry lots of crap with me: my ppc 6700, psp, Nintendo DS, old Toshiba laptop, 30gig video ipod, and my "talking phone" which is a samsung a900. I have quite the backpack full of cables and such. And that is just my load out for going to work. I don't like being bored.

Hello guys,

[?] Was there any changes in the CORE or OS files/registry from the previous kitchen? Battery Life has improved much in this last kitchen experience, but I can't confirm too much.

Here is the BUG -
I can't use Windows Live anymore as it causes a lock-up on every sync. It rarely happens within Messaging but does happen from time to time. This happened and was reported by me on the last kitchen as well. There is a consistent problem that occurs: an "OK" and "Menu" become the softkeys and the device locks up. Anyone else seen this?

Another strange bug that happened a few times after working with Word for a while, strange can't save memory full error happened. That was new to this kitchen. I checked my memory and it was fine however there was that ugly Running Programs >Memory screen where it showed allocation and a weird version of the Memory settings.

Anyone run into this error before? Anyone have any problems with Windows Live?
Thanks.

This is a really good upgrade from 2.x ROM. The BT headset is more unstable though frequently disconnecting. The new voice command from HTC or whoever is really nice and almost worth the upgrade alone.

This phone is near perfect if it wasn'f for the BT losing connection all the time. With 2.x I had to have the unit go into back light mode off to keep it connected and disabled the power save mode.

I will try to work around this latest issue.

Yay,
Word is even with sdhc, the camera app has the same limitation as it always had - i.e. it can't see any free memory at all on the storage card unless it is less than 2GB. That means you must load your card halfway with other stuff (making the free memory less than 2GB), then the camera will save directly to the card.
I don't remember the "not enough memory" error occurring when this used to happen on 3.5, so your issue may be different. Good luck, tmb

I am not entirely sure this is correct. I have a 6 gig card in my phone with over 5 gig free. I just tested my camera by taking two pictures and it saved to My Documents\My Pictures on the sd card. So I dont think there is a 2 gig limitation...at least mine worked.
