"Not working" is a great way to troubleshoot, but I think I found the problem with the Today Agenda OEM. It's missing an RGU file which means it will work, it's just missing the registry entry to make it show up on the today item list.
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Items\Today Agenda] "DLL"="TodayAgenda.dll" "Type"=dword:00000004 "Selectability"=dword:00000002 "Enabled"=dword:00000001 "Options"=dword:00000001

I'm having problems with activesync after customizing my rom and flashing. The phone connects fine, but I can no longer sync Spb Wallet and Keep Track. Those programs previously were in main memory and synced without issue, but now, while they're listed in the programs under "options" in activesync, there is no box to check so that the desktop can be synced with the phone. Short of taking them out of the rom and installing to main memory, any one have any ideas?

Umm, I think I might have made a slight mistake... I got a brand new 6700 in the mail today to replace the one that is dead on my counter. 6 months ago, the external speaker died, last week, the phone radio died, and while waiting for the new one to come in to replace it, the wifi radio died, and it stopped getting past the 2nd splash screen. Here is my problem: As soon as I got the new one in today, I buit a custom rom(using the kitchen) and flashed the brand new phone. Everything turned out just fine, but I need to know if anyone has used a wm6 flashed 6700 as a wireless modem for a rig running Ubuntu... My old laptop won't run xp, but it will run fiesty fawn like a dream, so my only hope of having internet on the go on the thing is through Ubuntu 7.04...
( http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...highlight=6700 ) I can't fire up this laptop at the moment to test it, seeing as how my battery gave up the ghost long ago, and my charger ate itself (new one on the way). Yeah, I know, my lucky week when it comes to electronics, right? Anyways, any help would be appreciated. p.s. My laptop CAN run xp, its just that I REFUSE to spend another $100 on ANOTHER copy of xp, when Ubuntu can get the job done just as well, and a little better, in some cases. |

I have a 2g card so I can't try to reproduce your issue, but I wanted to ask if maybe you have your ext rom unhidden. I know with mail attachments it trys to put them in ext rom instead of card and fills up rapidly leaving no space. Open your message application. Go to options. Click on the storage tab and see what size your card is by clicking to save attachments to storage card when available. That is a quick way to see if the rom is picking ext rom as your storage card. If that is the issue just hide your ext rom and the prob will be corrected. Not sure if this is the problem or solution but worth a look.
