Holy Crap Helmi/Batman/Chill/et al!
I finally got a flash that worked... this is freaking amazing.
I tried installing some new things based on some of the text-note "suggestions" and I might actually change my base configuration. I can't believe how fast this thing reboots. And easily overclocked. And the GUI... topbar looks as good as WisBar! WkTask & the Dutty explorer can easily replace Resco and maybe iLauncher.
I'm just stunned.

(Note that there is a new version of WkTask out; when I went to the website and downloaded the new cab, I couldn't install the new version. Didn't have the right "permissions". I'm going to guess that this is because the original is in ROM. So, I'll reflash without WkTask and then reinstall the new version.)

Just downloading the 11/08 edition, hope that has corrected the issue that cant invoke the htc camera from the mms applet, or that to revert to full working 3.0.6.24
Another hope that fix that shorcuts are erraticaly keep on windows folder, so that cant view in programs group, just happened to flash lite and added oems
adding mms 3.0.6.24 generate a duplicate file error, but this oem doesnt carry this file! (player_middlelayer.dll already exists)
A Error generating ROM as final message (whats annoying!!)

MMS 3.0.6.24 does indeed include player_middlelayer.dll. It's a hidden file so make sure you have file explorer set to see hidden files in windows.

Simply move the file from MMS 3.0.6.24 OEM to your Patches directory.

Not using the ip address, sent mms, worked fine
Bay area, CA (was in Palo Alto when sent)

Did anyone ever figure out how to get the auto-complete to work in the text messaging app?

I believe it had something to do with an incompatibility with one of the dialer skins. Vogue, I think.
It's working fine for me.

You have the new bootloader. Bootloader versions 1.04, 2.04, and 2.05 require a different ROM Upgrade Utility than earlier versions. The way you select that is from the BuildOS window, look at the top toolbar where it says "Standard". Click that and a drop-down menu will come up... choose X.04+ from that menu and build your ROM again. That will cause it to flash with the correct RUU for your device.

Edit: Also you should turn Mobile Device Center USB back on. That should only be off while replacing the driver for Vista. You could also put your phone into bootloader mode (Power + Notes + Soft reset) first before connecting to USB to save a step.

Does that mean i'll have to limit the size of the rom like in 2.04 and 2.05?

thanks ahead of time
