[HSPL-UNLOCKER] - - Rhodium W HardSPL

Quick Question...
Alright guys, so about two days ago i got my new TP2 for Sprint and i already knew about custom ROMs and where to find them as well as the HSPL (here) so since i got it, i have been doing nothing but research ROMs since yesterday... i have no worry about flashing my device, but there was one thing i was not able to find while researching...

-If i flash a custom ROM on my TP2 for Sprint, and then later this month (hopefully) Sprint finally decides to release the 6.5 update, is there a way for me to use the official Sprint update once the device is on a different ROM? will i have to flash back to stock ROM? will that be enough, or do i have to re-lock the device?

(as much as i may like custom ROMs, that doesn't mean i am not going to want to try the official releases)

yes you will be fine...you will just have to flash the updated stock rom...

Why in the hell can I not unlock my replacement phone?? They want me to donate for commercial use. Why is it that the old unlocker worked unlimited? I need to unlock this phone tonight I am a truck driver and leave to go on the road tomorrow and need my tethering to work.

I think your going to have to Donate, If you need that thing unlocked tonight. A lot has changed in the world of the HSPL, you now only get one free use. You can submit a request via the information on Page 1, for a new Licence. However it's not going to get unlocked tonight.

wrong forum, but we'll work with you. the sprint touch pro2 is already world unlocked. you need the sim unlocker to use a gsm sim card in the united states. but if you do sim unlock, you can use any sim card anywhere! just flash the special sprint radio 1.96.00WU.

Although I did want to report that I attempted to unlock tonight on a computer that had never had active synce or my new TP2 that has not been even hooked to a cable and I got the not for commercial use already unlocked before...donate for instant unlock of second device...error. I donated which I intended to do anyways and was then able to unlock right after.

I am having issues unzipping the file. I can download the RhodiumW HardSPL_V1_10R3_100HSPL.cap file but when i got to unzip it my PC seems like it del the file instantly. I am not sure what the issue is. I can download it to my phone and unzip it but after i sync it with my computer it will del the file? Is anyone one else having any issues like this?

figured it out...M$ security center was not letting me save the file.

I'm trying to flash a CDMA Touch Pro 2 for the 1st time and am having some issues. i've done plenty of GSM phones with no problems, as well as a CDMA Touch Pro 1. Tryed automatic, doesn't work. Tryed manual, doesn't work. Tried installing .cab, then automatic and manual, no go. Tried doing manual from the device and the .exe froze the phone. Using XP. Was able to use the same computer and GSM Hard Spl on an AT&T Tilt 2, but the Sprint Touch Pro does not flash. Also hard reset and tried again. Any suggestions?
