Regarding problems with the HTC music tab. I used the Windows Media player and went to the menu. I updated the library by using the Windows Media Player. I suspect the two programs work together to share data/library information. The HTC Music Tab worked fine after the update. I do not know whether this is a coincidence or not. Worked for me.

Thanks, good info on the original link. After fooling with this for a day or two with a new ROM seems I cannot get it over the speed I had with the previous old script-based set-up. So I assume my limitation is the quality of my chip and this app is doing about as good as it can.

Remarkable as there is still a development pipeline for these apps, but shows the reticence people have over the iPhone and Android.

When in Landscape mode, the menu slider bar at the bottom disappears.


IS it possible to setup activesync with an exchange server? I'm trying to resetup my gmail for push mail, but not having luck. Is activesync not installed with this ROM? Should I be installing it separately?

Just wanna say I was having this problem too, until I flashed a few April 15th Co0kie 2.0 ROMs. I tried it out just to see. Dunno why that one was different, but it was... I thought the problem was fixed somehow. Guess not...
But I can't speak on the current ROMs because I have been FREED from Co0kie and Sense and LOVIN' IT! lol

ahh, found the activesync app, it was in the INTERNET tab.

I'm using this to sync my gmail calendar, contacts and emails. Unless there is a better way...

I have noticed that using the PUSH EMAIL / OUTLOOK, if someone with an iphone sends me an email with an IMAGE, its shows that there is a paperclip/attachment, but upon opening the email, it does not show the file or give me an option to download/open it.

Possibly some kind of restriction on types of files that can be opened?
Is there a way to allow all files to be opened?

+1, your not alone. I haven't active synced in a year or so. PIM backup works for me. I also like to add CABs in slow and manually over time starting w/the most important ones first. Not saying its the right way, but have never had to reflash.
