I've got a keyboard problem, and I'd love some guidance please. The CAPS and FN work on the home screen, but not inside any applications (currently tested Office Mobile, and Messaging)

I have used the carrier provisioning included in the ROM. I have searched through this thread, saw where others were having this problem a year ago. They referenced using a VZ Keyboard fix CAB located in the OP, but I was unable to find such a file. I also seached the NRG website, but didn't find such files listed.

I have wiped the device a few times, but the best I've got so far is where I am at now; working CAPS/FN on the home screen, but no where else.

Any assistance is greatly appreicated. Thanks!

just tried a 64mb PP hope it works out well.. seems smooth and fast so far.. installing programs now..

oh boy, the keyboard stuff again...there are now 6 verizon cabs in paperclip...
Reading the first page, you'll see post #6 in large underlined font is a link to our wiki:

In there you'll find a Welcome message on top & see "IMPORTANT LINKS", containing: PAPERCLIP: View/Download All CABs and Attachments in this Forum. Disable popup blocker first.
We've made the wiki alphabetical, so you can goto "K" for keyboard or "P" for Paperclip as well.

If something is not in there, is repetitive & common... & it should be.. let me know, thanks.

Before attaching cab files, please see if they are already in the paperclip area & provide a link to them instead.

64 meg PP is not all it cracked up to be... i end up with like 15-20megs of available memory out of 138 and thats not much to play with at all. There is not that much of a diff between speed. So ill just reinstall my apps then use spb backup to perform a full then re-flash back to a 12meg pp which is what I normally use and be done. I also tried the 1meg pp and my phone was so slow..

As you can see by my join date/post count, I do not take posting lightly. However, a search of multiple threads (including this one) on 'keyboard', through the FAQ, and on the NRG site did not turn up what I was looking for. I'm sorry for 'crapping up your thread', but in a single day I was not the only one who missed the six locations.
