Yeah thats why I felt pretty stupid after I downloaded the new CHT ROM lol When I switched to an earlier date I realized someone saying they read on XDA that it wasnt compatible

hmmm, looks like I'll have to give 8/6 a shot, would be nice to have all those updates Not at all directed to you guys, but for anyone interested, I always follow these guidelines (thanks, DaveTN) when flashing to ensure a smooth flash. I'll report back with what I find

I don't have any problems using HTCRie on the TP2 ROMs. Here are the steps, but after you do it once, it's a piece of cake.

1. Unzip the desired NRG ROM and if you want, unzip HTCrie into the same folder.
2. Then run HTCRie and do File > Open and select the RHODIMG.NBH file.
3. On the left panel, click the "+" next to OS to expand it.
4. Click on IMGFS. You'll see all the files in the ROM. You can sort by name, size, type. Highlight the files you want to delete (eg. MP3Trimmer, Palringo, etc) and hit the DEL key.
5. Click the Save icon when you're done.
6. Exit HTCRie and flash as usual.

TIP: If you fear deleting something by mistake, HTCrie has a "Save selected files" and "Add files..." options. You can save the files first before deleting and add them back in if you change your mind.

Freeze confirmed, from NRG's twitter:

"Sounds like I need to release a patch for the mail tab on GTX ROMs... Will check it out and do so in a few minutes..."

edit: also, for me only problem on Mail tab, not Messaging tab

CHT 8/6 seems to be working fine for me with no problems. It actually seems a lot smoother than the previous ROMs. Haven't encountered any problems other than my dysfunctional My Location, but that started to happen before I used the 8/6 ROM so...
